Extended longevity with fewer changes is just one of the benefits to this high yield ink cartridge over others. With more ink comes fewer changes, so you'll enjoy increased productivity, lower total per-page print cost and have less waste, making these types of cartridges nor only excellent value option for quality printing, but also extremely ecologically friendly.

The ink cartridge is housed inside a carriage with a printhead that produces a tiny sized picolitre droplet of ink. Each one of these printheads for each ink cartridge has several thousand microscopic nozzles. This means that it can reproduce extremely fine and precise lines true to the original without producing any unwanted granular lines or blotches. This contributes significantly to an exacting application of the ink to provide superior quality resolution levels.

This cartridge contains Canon Black pigment ink designed for the producing the most vibrant colour expression at the highest saturation levels, with minimal bleeding. It also presents a full gamut of hues and rich tones of Black for enhanced print glossiness and minimal bronzing effects.

Engineered for use in Canon Pixma TR7560, TR8560, TS6160, TS8160 and TS9160 inkjet printers, all-in-one devices and multi-function centres.

Due to the unique characteristics of Canon's exclusive ink blend, the prints produced have high page saturation with solid vibrant blocks and hues of colour with smooth gradugradationsminimal bleed for exceptional expression. Prints made are also abrasion and scratch resistant thanks to the special long-lasting adherence properties of the ink. Because of this such prints remain durable for extended periods and are easier to handle and transport. Additives in the blend also assist with ensuring ink viscosity remains within specific constrained parameters so that consistent printing can always be attained. Other additives act as a cooling and lubrication agent, particularly for the print-head assembly mechanism.

The technology behind the image formation process with these types of cartridges is called thermal inkjet. The printhead nozzle section draws down ink from the cartridge and then uses some mini heating elements to expand and eject the ink out from these nozzles and onto the waiting page. Because of its a direct application system, the print resolution levels are far superior to rival print methodologies like laser and dot matrix.

Combine with select media and advanced printer settings to achieve accurate colours and glossy finishes up to 4800 x 1200 DPI print resolution.

Designed to sustain exceptional print speeds up to 15 images per minute.

Each cartridge comes vacuum sealed for longevity to prevent air bubbles, leakages and ink blotting and packed inside its own carton for easy storage and access.
