Enjoy fantastic savings today on this genuine Canon CLI-681BK Black Pigment ink cartridge for use in a number of Canon Pixma inkjet and multifunction printers. Senior QA inspectors oversee every aspect of the manufacturing procedures to ensure that every cartridge is manufactured to Canon's highest precision engineering standards to achieve the very best excellence in print quality, performance and reliability they are renowned for worldwide.

Each cartridge comes fully loaded up with premium Black Pigment ink that delivers sharp and clear text lines to produce striking images as well as improved crispness and clarity for producing fine sharp lines for text and graph type work for reports and other publications.

The print quality of this Canon CLI-681BK ink cartridge is outstanding, producing a full-colour gamut to ensure extra colour vibrancy and delivered through a super fine print head nozzle to also create the most exceptional colour output for photo and imaging type work. The rich black and its subtle gradations of hues and tones also ensure precise and crisp linework ideal for text, graphs, presentations and other professional documents.

Suitable for use in Canon Pixma TR7560, TR8560, TS6160, TS8160 and TS9160 inkjet printers, multi-function centres and all-in-one devices.

The technology for producing the print is known as thermal inkjet. Ink is pumped down into an apparatus known as a printhead which is then used to apply the layers of ink directly onto the paper. Inside this printhead are situated hundreds of microscopic print nozzles and these are surrounded by a series of heating elements. These elements are switched on according to which nozzle is required to fire from the commands of the printer. Once switched on, the heat transferred from the elements to their corresponding nozzles force the ink inside to expand through the nozzle in a pico-droplet bubble form onto the waiting media. The results of this process of image development are exceptional with image quality far superior to rival technologies such as laser printing and others. This technique is the recommended process for those demanding the very highest print quality resolution and ideal for artwork, lab-quality photos and more.

Innovative and advanced ink droplet creation technology driven by the printer processing mechanisms improves the balance and mixture of all the inks to ensure correct colour balance, expression and matching. The ink used has been specially formulated with elements to deliver high page saturation with minimal page bleeding. It also has additional polymers for protecting the longevity of the printer's print head by acting as a coolant and viscosity maintainer for the internal pump system.

The printed output on media is resistant to scratches and abrasions, making them extra durable for handling and filing.

Operators can experiment with select media and change advanced printer settings to achieve higher amounts of print resolution. Using these features, users can get up to 4800 x 1200 DOT to produce precise, detailed, beautifully rendered prints, photos, artwork and more. And for internal office use only, other settings can be changed to help save on ink usage, This ink saver option is widely known as DRAFT MODE and is ideal for applications where there is no need for the highest quality output. Perfect for inter-office memos, minutes and agendas for example.

The cartridge has been designed to comfortably manage print speeds up to 15 (ppm) pages per minute without output deterioration of physical failure.
