This CLI-671XLGY ink cartridge has been rated to produce up to 3350 pages at 5% coverage. With the extra ink in this cartridge, you'll enjoy greater intervals between changes enjoy greater productivity, have less downtime, less waste and with fewer interruptions to your workflow.

The special ChromaLife ink utilised by Canon in these CLI-671XLGY cartridges has been explicitly developed for making the highest print resolution colour photos and also crisp sharp lines for high definition text, graphs, reports and other professional publications.

The Canon ink has been imbued with special additives to ensure consistent viscosity for the life of the cartridge. This helps ensure that the first print is matched perfectly with the last print. The cartridge also has other chemical additives which help to form a significant resistance against smudging and smearing, making them extra durable for handling and extending print life. Other elements keep the printhead cool for optimal firing operation, while others aid in creating high levels of saturation for more vibrant expression along with higher adherence and extra resistance to fading.

Manufactured for continuous use, these Genuine Canon CLI-671XLGY Pixma Home ink cartridges are perfect for producing the highest print quality. They provide a broad gamut of gradations, hues and tones for vivid of colour expression for both internal and external use. Utilise the advanced printer settings and combine with special media to produce stunning lab-quality photos and artwork. Or you can simply adjust printer settings to draft mode which will tone back the ink used, so the cartridge lasts even longer. Draft mode is excellent for internal documents where a lesser quality can be tolerated.

To create the printed image from the ink housed in these CLI-671XLGY cartridges and get it onto the paper, the printer employs an imaging creation technology called as thermal inkjet. Ink is applied to the sheet of paper by using a heated element to expand the ink from a cartridge housing and into and through a number of fine printhead nozzles. When switched on by the printer processor, these heating elements heat up the ink nozzles to expands the ink into picolitre size droplets onto the paper. Print resolution is far superior to other types of printer technologies like laser and dot matrix impact.

The Image Processing System inside the Pixma Home printer consistently monitors ink dynamics and refraction to produce a perfect balance and mixture of inks for exceptional colour matching and vividness.
