These genuinely certified Canon imageCLASS toner cartridges are have been precision engineered and designed in Canon's Image Print Laboratories to produce the highest quality printing results and with the greatest durability.

Each CART-056 Black Toner Cartridge is made in alignment with Canon's own stringent manufacturing standards using high-grade most durable components and non-toxic materials to guarantee performance, reliability and longevity. Furthermore, to ensure these attributes are definitively achieved, each cartridge is thoroughly examined at particular production and development points and then when complete, it is then rigorously test trialled on a series of quality, capacity, reliability and longevity criteria standard benchmarks. Only then is does the cartridge in question receive approval certification for distribution.

This toner cartridge has a volume print capacity of up to 10000 pages at 5% coverage.

The compositional properties of the toner powder and polymer matrix in this cartridge ensure prints produced are smear and fade resistant that will endure handling with ease and remain durable and robust across time. The sub-micron granular toner particles create crisp lines and text as well as providing a wide gamut of hues and tones for vivid image saturation and matching.

Special polymer additives also contribute to lowering the development transfer temperature which means faster warm-up times and lower energy running costs. Other polymers act as a lubricant for the internal working components to maximise reliability and longevity.

This cartridge has been robustly engineered to perform and sustain continuous print machine speeds up to 43 (ppm) pages per minute.

The cradle and external housing sections of this CART-056 Black Toner Cartridge cartridge has been designed for quick and easy cartridge replacement. Production delays are minimised so operators can stay focussed on the job at hand.

Achieve up to 600 x 600 DPI print quality resolution for highest quality output on specially coated media types. Advanced printer settings can often be adjusted or scaled up and down to suit particular types of printing. For internal type printing, for example, operators can utilise the draft mode option which reduces the concentration of toner used. This mode is also known as toner save mode and because less toner is used, you can expect to get more than the standard amount of prints from each cartridge. These toner saving modes are excellent for memo creation and other less quality critical printing for the office or at school. Irrespective of the application demands, operators can change the printer settings and media to reflect and match the quality and performance demanded.

Electro-static and laser principles and technologies are what is used to develop and apply the image and to the page in these types of printers. Internal transformers apply a set of static charges on a group of photovoltaic cells on the surface of rotating photoconductor drum assembly inside the printer. A laser is then switched on to discharge these cells in the blank areas and the charges that remain form an invisible image template area representing the formation of the job created in the PC. This charged drum then attracts oppositely charged toner particles from the developer roller of the laser toner cartridge. Paper or media then enter the printer section between a charge roller and the drum. A charge roller then applies a reverse charge to attract the toner image from the drum down to meet the surface of the sheet. The sheet with the image sitting upon it then enters a heated fusing apparatus where all the granules of toner and polymers are pressed and melted into the fibres of the media to complete adhesion. The page then exits the printer to an exit tray ready for operator use and further document handling and processing.

This Canon printer cartridge contains Black toner, ideal for comprehensive high and medium volume demand printing like reports, tables, documents, publications, brochures as well as colour photos and artwork.
