This genuine cyan toner cartridge provides a broad scope of bright and vibrant ink expression for intense imaging work plus precise, crisp and sharp lines for professional office text and report work.

This toner cartridge has a special blend of toner particles and polymers that are sub-micron granular in size. The particular spherical shape and this microscopic size of the ink formulation result in a consistent and uniform spread of toner across the page to produce excellent colour matched composition prints, saturation with increased longevity. The unique blend of toner material with enhanced polymers also have a lower melting point and by extension, this means that the printer uses less overall energy, so operators can expect lower operating costs while also and smaller ecological footprint.

Manufactured to the highest standards by Canon in their advanced image research laboratories this Canon CART046CH Cyan laser toner cartridge will print out up to 5000 A4 pages at 5% coverage. The great thing to come from this extra toner is that you can extend the interval time between changes and get a lower printed page cost at the same time. Avoid the frustration of running out at just the wrong time, get more prints on every change and avoid the hassle of continual cartridge changes.

The cartridge has been specifically designed and engineered to be used in Canon LBP654CX, and MF735CX laser printers, multi-function devices, all-in-ones and photocopiers.

This Canon cyan high yield toner cartridge will print approximately of 5000 A4 pages at 5% coverage.

Canon's commitment to respecting the environment while also ensuring maximum quality and performance is improved, is demonstrated by the fact that every laser toner cartridge is meticulously manufactured with care and diligence and made from only premium select earth-friendly parts and non-toxic materials.

Printed output is tolerant to adverse environmental conditions as well as being resistant to chemicals, abrasions and fading which means you can handle and apply additional processing with confidence.

Mechanically geared and built to sustain a continuous output up to a speed of 28 pages per minute.

Operators can explore and take advantage of advanced printer settings and match with high-grade media to achieve different levels of quality print resolution up to 1200 x 1200 DPI. Other settings can also be adjusted to dampen down toner concentration and these are known as Draft or Toner Save modes. These settings are great for conserving toner usage and ideal for producing internal standard quality documents like memos, reminders and more.

The print image formation technology utilised here is a reprography process that harnesses both laser and electrical principles. This is accomplished by an electrostatic principle using magnetic attraction properties of negative and positive electron charges. The toner powder itself is applied with a negative charge by a metal blade on the actual developer roller that is part of the laser cartridge. Inside the printer sits what is called a photoconductor drum that has a special selenium coating which is sensitive to light. This outside coating of the drum is charged up with positive charges and then a laser is switched on to neutralise and discharge the static charges in the non-visible areas of the original image. What remains is a positively charged area on the drum's coated surface in the form of an invisible image. As the drum and developer roller turn they engage with one another and at that moment, the charges on the drum pull over the oppositely charged toner particles to form a visible primary image. As this is occurring, the sheet of paper being moved to be aligned underneath the drum where the beginning of the printed image exists. Once alignment has occurred, a reverse charge is applied from a corona beneath the paper and this electro-static force then pulls down the image from the surface of the drum onto the paper. It continues to turn and move until the whole image has been transferred to the page. The sheet then moves to heating element section where the loose particles of toner polymers get pressed and melted into the fibres of the sheet to secure permanent adherence. It then exits the printer to a waiting tray ready for operators to access and continue handling and processing.

These genuine Canon toner cartridges are perfect for those who demand ultra-quality printed output with high levels of durability. Suitable for creating sharp high-definition printed text documents, reports, graphs, publications, photos, artwork and more.

Each cartridge comes securely packaged and sealed to protect contents and preserve shelf life.
