Bright Tangerine LeftField Sony BURANO System - Base Documentary Kit (BUD One-Axis VCT-14)

The LeftField Base Documentary Kit from Bright Tangerine provides you with all the tools to make your Sony BURANO a documentary filming machine. The base documentary kit comprises a KASBAH Atman Shoulder Rig Frame, a KASBAH Shoulder Rig Narrow Single-Axis Pad, a BUD Compatible Bottom Dovetail Plate, a Sliding Top Plate, and a VCT mounting set. Easily transition from shoulder-mounted shooting to VCT-14 tripods with this kit.

Bright Tangerine KASBAH Shoulder Rig Narrow Single-Axis Pad

Outfit your shoulder rig with a comfortable pad using the KASBAH Shoulder Rig Narrow Single-Axis Pad from Bright Tangerine to relieve the pressure from your rig and increase your shooting time. The pad secures to the KASBAH shoulder rig frame via a mounting slot with a safety release mechanism, allowing you to balance the pad along a single axis. Its open structure allows airflow to reduce sweat and dissipate heat while conforming to the contours of your shoulder.

Bright Tangerine KASBAH Atman Shoulder Rig Frame

Create a shoulder rig suited to your cine camera configuration with the Bright Tangerine KASBAH Atman Shoulder Rig Frame and its BUD-compatible dovetail. The frame provides a total of 6.5" sliding distance to balance your ARRI camera and properly position your KASBAH shoulder rig pad of choice. VCT-14 and BCT standards are also compatible with the frame to accommodate future gear upgrades. Secure 15mm LWS rods to the front of the frame thanks to the dual-rod clamp and incorporate lens accessories. Two ARRI-standard rosettes with M6 threads allow you to add side handles to the frame. You can even integrate a separately available rear rod clamp using the back M4 mounting threads.

Bright Tangerine KASBAH Shoulder Rig VCT Mounting Set

Mount the KASBAH Atman Shoulder Rig onto VCT-14 tripod plate configurations using this Bright Tangerine KASBAH Shoulder Rig VCT Mounting Set. The set consists of both a front and a rear mounting component with five mounting screws. If you require more space to move your KASBAH shoulder pad along the frame, simply remove the rear component. The set is constructed of stainless steel for a durable design.

Bright Tangerine BUD Compatible Bottom Dovetail Plate for Sony BURANO

Integrate a quick release system of your choice into your Sony BURANO rig configuration with the Bright Tangerine BUD Compatible Bottom Dovetail Plate. The plate features a wide BUD dovetail standard plate compatible with the ARRI BUD-1 and BUD-3 plates. Combine the plate with the LeftField 3 15mm LWS Baseplate with the dovetail for ARRI-compatible rigs or with the KASBAH Atman Shoulder Rig Kit for VCT-14 compatible rigs.

Gimbals, stabilisers, and other camera supports can be integrated with the plate using the BUD Universal Stabiliser Adapter Mount in either 6 or 12" lengths. The plate secures to the bottom of your camera via two 3/8"-16 captive mounting screws. Use the integrated release lever to quickly transition from handheld to stabilised shooting.

Bright Tangerine Sliding Top Plate for Sony BURANO

This Bright Tangerine Sliding Top Plate is designed to secure to your Sony BURANO cine camera and provide additional mounting points to the top of your rig. The mount consists of the main sliding plate with an ARRI dovetail mounting spot and an ARRI dovetail plate. Both components feature multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads, ARRI MAP M4 points, and Quick Detach sockets for wide accessory compatibility. Secure accessories like the BUD-compatible dovetail plate, 15mm top rod console, or floating NATO rail to the sliding plate to customize the loadout of your rig.

Bright Tangerine Drumstix 15mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods (9", Pair)

This pair of Bright Tangerine Drumstix 15mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods is extremely lightweight yet amazingly stiff, allowing you to add rod-mounted accessories to your rig with virtually no flex in the rods, something every owner, operator, assistant, and rental house will appreciate. Each 9" long support rod is extremely lightweight yet exhibits less flex than carbon fiber rods of the same length, and it is lighter than either steel or aluminium rods while being at least as stiff and strong. Made from titanium, the rods are corrosion resistant, and each is machined and ground flat to prevent binding as you mount accessories.

Each titanium rod is machined and ground flat to within a tolerance of 2 microns, which prevents accessories from binding when sliding on the rod. The strength, hardness, and machining tolerances of the rod eliminate the need for the time-honored tradition of spinning the support rod in the rod clamp when trying to build the camera package.

Each rod is extremely lightweight, making it well suited for use with drones or in handheld configurations.

The stiffness of each rod means you can confidently use it to support heavy lenses and matte boxes loaded with filters without worrying about the rod flexing.
