This Bright Tangerine baseplate kit is designed for RED V-RAPTOR users wanting to add the quick-release 15mm LWS baseplate with support for 15mm rods. The top stage releases the Manfrotto 501PL standard dovetail, so you can quickly transition to a smaller handheld build or load directly onto compatible gimbals. The lower stage allows you to securely lock off the camera onto any ARRI standard balance plate.

The whole kit combined is extremely light-weight & low profile, which keeps all of your V-RAPTOR builds, nimble and compact.

The Baseplate kit features our patented Open•Up Quick-Release system that lets you slide, lock & vertically release the camera from any ARRI standard balance plate, or the included low profile dovetail plate.

This kit has been updated to LeftField 3 and is not compatible with LeftField 2 accessories.

  • Dual stage quick-release for switching between gimbal, handheld & tripod modes.
  • Patented open-up quick release system. Lets you slide, lock and vertically release in seconds.
  • Dovetail uses Manfrotto 501PL standard.
  • Support for lens adapters with 1/4" or 3/8" mount.
  • Safety locks to prevent any accidental releases.
  • Sets the camera to standard 15mm LWS height.
