Bright Tangerine Left Field 3 19mm Studio QR Bridgeplate - Advanced Kit

The LeftField 3 19mm Studio Quick Release Bridgeplate Advanced Kit from Bright Tangerine includes the LeftField 3 19mm Studio quick release bridgeplate, an adapter dovetail, a 12" ARRI standard dovetail, and two 12" titanium 19mm rods. The bridgeplate features 3/8"-16 camera screws, a right-side ARRI-style rosette, and 3/8"-16 accessory threads.

The bridgeplate also includes a three-stage Open•UP locking lever and an inner plate that supports the different heights of both ARRI and RED cameras. The included adapter plate allows you to mount a VENICE or VENICE 2 onto the ARRI dovetail. The rods are made from durable, lightweight titanium, and they are resistant to corrosion. Read more below about the items in this kit.

Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 19mm Studio Quick Release Bridgeplate

The LeftField 3 19mm Studio Quick Release Bridgeplate from Bright Tangerine features a three-stage Open•UP locking lever. This quick release system enables you to detach the bridgeplate vertically, saving the time and effort otherwise spent sliding your camera rig off the back of a dovetail. The vertical release feature is especially handy for heavier cameras or when switching one camera between multiple supports like a handheld rig, dolly, or tripod. It also features mounting screws for a shoulder pad such as the KASBAH.

The Quick Release bridgeplate incorporates an inner plate that can be rotated to accommodate the different camera heights. This riser adapter can be swapped for separately available plates compatible with additional cameras. Bridgeplate features include 3/8"-16 camera screws, a right-side ARRI-standard rosette, and 3/8"-16 accessory threads.

Bright Tangerine Drumstix 19mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods (12", Pair)

This pair of Bright Tangerine Drumstix 19mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods is extremely lightweight yet amazingly stiff, allowing you to add rod-mounted accessories to your rig with virtually no flex in the rods, something every owner, operator, assistant, and rental house will appreciate. Each 12" long support rod is extremely lightweight yet exhibits less flex than carbon fiber rods of the same length, and it is lighter than either steel or aluminum rods while being at least as stiff and strong. Made from titanium, the rods are corrosion resistant, and each is machined and ground flat to prevent binding as you mount accessories.

  • Each titanium rod is machined and ground flat to within a tolerance of 2 microns, which prevents accessories from binding when sliding on the rod. The strength, hardness, and machining tolerances of the rod eliminate the need for the time-honored tradition of spinning the support rod in the rod clamp when trying to build the camera package.
  • Each rod is extremely lightweight, making it well suited for use with drones or in handheld configurations.
  • The stiffness of each rod means you can confidently use it to support heavy lenses and matte boxes loaded with filters without worrying about the rod flexing.

Bright Tangerine ARRI BP8 Adapter Dovetail for Sony VENICE 1/2 & 15mm LWS Baseplate

Add a quick release to your Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 with the ARRI BP8 Adapter Dovetail from Bright Tangerine. Designed for use with the LeftField 15mm LWS baseplate and ARRI BP-8 or BP-9 bridge plates, this lightweight aluminum dovetail plate features multiple reinforced 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads, and it is designed to set your VENICE at the correct 15mm or 19mm Studio optical height. The plate features safety stops on the ends, so it doesn't slide out of the mount.

Compatibility

This dovetail is designed to match the mounting screws on the ARRI BP-8 and BP-9 Studio bridge plates, setting the camera at the correct heights and offsets for 15mm Studio and 19mm Studio configurations. It is designed for use with the 15mm LWS Baseplate for Sony VENICE/VENICE 2 B4003.1030.

Quick Release

Using the LeftField baseplate, the camera can snap on/off the bridge plates for fast transitions between setups.

ARRI BP-8 and BP-9 Compatible

The dovetail mounting holes line up to the two screws and locating pins on the ARRI studio bridge plates. When using the BP-9 for 15mm Studio setups, the optical center is offset for correct placement.

Balancing

The extended length offers fore/aft adjustment for optimal balance on the bridge plates.

Mounting Points

The middle of the dovetail also features a row of 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 to mount the dovetail on other accessories like tripods and jibs.

Durable Construction

Machined and hand-finished from high-grade materials, it is hard-anodized for extended durability.

Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 ARRI Standard Dovetail (12")

A front and rear safety button releases to ensure your camera does not slide off the plate.

The plate features multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounting threads with inserts to prevent stripping. The dovetail is compatible with any ARRI-standard clamp, as well as OConnor 2600, 2575D, and 120EX and Sachtler Cine 30 tripod heads.
