Bright Tangerine KASBAH Atman Universal Shoulder Rig & Hand Grip Kit (Two-Axis BUD VCT-14)

Enhance your shooting experience with the KASBAH Universal Atman Shoulder Rig & Hand Grip Kit (Two-Axis BUD VCT-14). This ultimate handheld rig for any camera offers unmatched speed, control, and comfort, ensuring a seamless and efficient setup for every shot.

Low Profile Shoulder Rig

Stay agile with the Atman Shoulder Rig. This lightweight, low-profile platform ensures nimble and responsive handling. By keeping the camera low, it preserves natural movement and enhances ergonomics, significantly reducing bodily strain.

Versatile BUD Platform

The Atman Shoulder Rig features the broader 88mm ARRI BUD standard, seamlessly integrating with BUD-compatible bottom plates such as our B4003.1056 Universal BUD Plate and B4004.1038 BUD Bottom Plate for the Sony BURANO. It is also compatible with ARRI ALEXA 35, MINI, and MINI LF camera models when paired with the BUD-1 and BUD-3 bottom plates.

Integrate BUD with your camera to seamlessly switch between shoulder, gimbal, and handheld setups. Utilise our extensive range of BUD accessories to make these transitions in just seconds.

Forwards, Backwards and Side to Side

The placement of the camera on the shoulder rig significantly affects the setup's overall balance. By using the ARRI BUD dovetail standard, we offer a 165mm sliding capacity. This spacious adjustment range allows you to evenly distribute the weight, which helps reduce strain on your back, neck, and shoulders. The balance can be fine-tuned with added precision using the sliding shoulder pad situated on the frame.

Unlike traditional shoulder pads, the two-axis pad offers enhanced functionality by sliding forwards, backwards, and side to side. This design allows for better weight distribution and adjustable camera proximity, providing operators with increased control and comfort.

Ergonomic Comfort

Improve your filming experience with the KASBAH shoulder pad. Designed to minimise fatigue, this accessory features an innovative design with multi-density zones for targeted pressure relief. This thoughtful addition to your gear helps you stay focused and productive throughout the day.

Dock onto VCT-14 Tripod Adapter Plates

The shoulder rig, paired with the VCT-14 mounting kit, provides a secure and dependable connection for your camera setup. This ensures stability and reliability across diverse shooting situations. With this robust mounting system, filmmakers can focus on capturing the perfect shot, free from concerns about equipment stability.

ARRI Standard Rosettes

ARRI standard rosettes on both sides of the frame facilitate effortless integration with our KASBAH hand grips and arms, along with other compatible accessories.

Front & Rear 15mm Rod Support

The handheld rig's front includes a height-adjustable 15mm rod clamp, perfect for supporting matte boxes, focus motors, and lens supports. Additionally, this kit features a rear 15mm rod mount, ideal for attaching battery plates for counterbalance.

Articulating Hand Grips and 15mm LWS/19mm Bridge

There are numerous ways to configure the kit to suit your preferred setup. You can mount it using the 15mm LWS or 19mm bridge, or attach the hand grips and arms directly to the ARRI standard rosettes on the shoulder rig.

The precision-machined rosettes allow you to adjust the arm positions swiftly and securely, without the risk of slipping.

Compatibility

The KASBAH Atman Universal Shoulder Rig & Hand Grip Kit (Two-Axis BUD VCT-14) is designed to seamlessly integrate with a variety of professional filmmaking equipment. It is compatible with all cameras using a BUD compatible bottom plate.

Additionally, the kit is compatible with standard VCT-14 tripod plates, allowing for quick and easy mounting on compatible tripods and support systems. Whether you're shooting with a broadcast ENG or cinema camera, the KASBAH Atman Shoulder Rig Kit offers versatile compatibility, ensuring a seamless workflow and hassle-free setup process.
