Bright Tangerine Fujifilm GFX ETERNA Expert Studio Kit

Back to you in the studio: the Expert Studio Kit for the Fujifilm GFX ETERNA gives you the perfect selection of camera gear for 19mm Studio setups. Featuring a LeftField quick-release baseplate as well as a Universal BUD Plate, you have multiple options for effortlessly transferring your rig from mount to mount.

With a range of accessory mounting options including 1/and 3/8" anti-twist points as well as NATO rails and QD sockets, the Expert Studio Kit gives you everything you need for studio shooting.

Studio Shooting

19mm Studio setups are an underrated, and often overlooked, option for filmmakers. The larger 19mm support rods are perfect for the larger lenses and bulkier builds that you'd find in a studio setup. The LeftField 3 19mm Studio Baseplate uses Bright Tangerine's patented OpenUP mechanism, for seamless lift-off from ARRI standard dovetails. We've included a 1dovetail with the kit, too - ideal for those larger rigs.

BUD Balance

But if you want to quickly swap setups - such as onto KASBAH Atman shoulder rigs - the Expert Studio Kit also features a Universal BUD Plate. Mount this to your ETERNA's base for quick-release onto ARRI's Balanced Utility Dovetails, giving you easy access to two industry standard mounts.

Sturdy Support

When you're working with big studio lenses from the likes of Angénieux, the 19mm support rods are the perfect choice: giving you a stronger mounting point for matte boxes, lens motors and more. But if you want to transition to a smaller setup, the included 15mm Rod Bracket for the Universal BUD Plate gives you the option to mount to the 15mm LWS rod standard.

Ready for Rigging

The Expert Studio Kit features a modular Top Plate and Side Plate setup, allowing you to assemble the ETERNA with the plates that you need. The three-part Top Plate gives you a range of accessorising options, whilst keeping the camera low-profile. The Side Ribs, meanwhile, can be used on either side of the ETERNA, along with a dedicated Rear Side Plate for extra rigging real-estate.

Clean Customisation

Of course, mounting the camera is only half the work. If you want to get your ETERNA ready for the studio, you'll want to add components and accessories. The Expert Studio Kit's selection of plates provide a mounting solution for almost any scenario: with 1/and 3/8" screw threads with anti-twist threads, as well as QD sockets, MAP M4 points and integrated NATO rails - the latter of which feature safety stops to prevent accidental releases. Use the included Side Rib Brace to form a complete cage around the ETERNA, minimising flex and maximising functionality.

Handle without Care

The Expert Studio Kit also adds a robust and reliable Top Handle: designed for comfort and convenience when shooting in the Studio. With a textured rubber inlay in the grip and a curved shape, the Handle is perfect for turning, tilting and transport.

Please note that the Top Handle requires the Top Plate (Left) to be installed first in order to be centrally aligned.

Eternal Performance

The Expert Studio Kit is built to last, or even outlast, your camera. Each component is built and rigorously tested to Bright Tangerine's high standards: to offer maximised function for minimal weight. Each part of the Expert Studio Kit should handle the very worst shoot schedules, without breakdown or fault.

Instructions/Assembly

The Expert Studio Kit for Fujifilm GFX ETERNA comes with all required components and screws. You will require a 3mm and 4mm Hex Key - as well as a flathead screwdriver - in order to install.

BUD Plate to Camera

Align the screws of the Universal BUD Plate with any of the 1/and 3/8" screw threads on the base of the ETERNA.

Use a flathead screwdriver to attach the BUD plate to the camera.

BUD Riser to Baseplate

Align the 3/8" screws of the LeftField Baseplate with the threads on the base of the Riser.

Use a flathead screwdriver to tightly attach the two together.

Top Plate (Front) to Camera

Align the Top Plate's captive screws with the two 3/8" screw threads on the ETERNA.

Use a 4mm Hex Key to secure the Top Plate to the camera.

Top Plate (Left) to Camera

Align the Top Plate's 3/8" screws with the bottom two 3/8" screw threads on the ETERNA's left row of accessory threads.

Use a 4mm Hex Key to secure the Top Plate to the camera.

Top Plate (Right) to Camera

Align the Top Plate's 3/8" screws with the bottom two 3/8" screw threads on the ETERNA's right side.

Use a 4mm Hex Key to secure the Top Plate to the camera.

Top Handle to Top Plate (Left)

Align the two captive 3/8" screws with the corresponding slots on the Top Plate (Left) - the screws can slide to adjust.

Use a 4mm Hex Key to attach the handle to the plate.

Bracket and Spacer to Handle

Align the Spacer's nub with the inlet on the Top Bar Bracket, aligning the screw threads.

Align the Top Handle on the other side, ensuring the Spacer is flush against both components.

Insert the two M4 x 25mm screws through all three components.

Use a 3mm Hex Key to tighten the screws, ensuring all three parts are secured.

Compatibility

The Fujifilm GFX ETERNA Expert Studio Kit is designed to work with the GFX ETERNA: setting the camera to the 19mm Studio standard height. Whilst some components - such as the dedicated Top Plates and Side Ribs - are designed specifically for this camera, the majority of components are universal and can be used with other camera setups.

Part of the Fujifilm System

Bright Tangerine's range of accessories for the Fujifilm GFX ETERNA are precision-engineered to maximise freedom and minimise downtime. Wear and corrosion-resistant; each accessory is made by a combination of expert designers, engineers and - of course - filmmakers.

Zero Compromises

Based in the UK, Bright Tangerine's products are designed and manufactured to the highest standards of quality. Built as practical solutions to filmmaking problems, each accessory is tested rigorously to meet the standards of some of the largest productions in the world.
