Bright Tangerine 15mm LWS Rod Bracket for Universal Dovetail

The 15mm LWS Rod Bracket for Universal Dovetail adds a compact 15mm LW bracket to the front of the Universal Dovetail for Manfrotto and DJI RS 4, allowing you to mount your camera to 15mm support rods without a large baseplate.

Designed to create streamlined rigs, the Rod Bracket is lightweight and versatile.

The 15mm LWS Rod Bracket for our Universal Dovetail is an essential tool for streamlining your rig. Paired with our Universal Dovetail, you can transform your rig with 15mm rod support - bridging the gap between dovetail and baseplate in a compact and lightweight tool. Securing tightly to the underside of your dovetail, the rod bracket gives you expanded customisation options.

15mm Rod Support

The 15mm LWS Rod Bracket holds two 15mm rods with a 60mm spacing. Though not the full height for classic 15mm LWS rigs, it provides a range of customisation options and rigging possibilities without interfering with your dovetail.

Quick and Clean Installation

To add this bracket to your setup, simply tighten two captive 3/8" screws with an industry-standard 4mm Hex Key. Once in place, the bracket sits cleanly 13mm below the dovetail platform. The screw threads on the dovetail are anti-twist, meaning that your rig will be secure without wobble.

Bridge the Gap

Our Halo Universal Camera Cage is the ultimate choice for convenient customisation for any camera, and our Universal Dovetail is the ultra-convenient means of mounting any camera system. With the 15mm LWS Rod Bracket, you can combine the two for a versatile setup for any camera.

Part of the Create System

The Create range from Bright Tangerine offers convenient, accessible and universal accessories for your camera. Whether it's a modest stills camera or a full-fledged cinema setup, our Create accessories will provide the best performance.

Compatibility

The 15mm LWS Rod Bracket is designed for the Universal Dovetail for Manfrotto and DJI RS 4. It installs to the dedicated 3/8" threads on the Dovetail's base. It features two 15mm rod brackets spaced at 60mm apart - the standard 15mm LWS width.

However, the Rod Bracket does not set the rods to the 15mm LWS standard height. You will require a dedicated riser to ensure that your specific camera and other accessories are compatible.
