7" Daylight Viewable Screen

The Shinobi 7 RX features a 7" IPS LCD 1920 x 1080 screen that is illuminated by a bright 2200 cd/m² LED backlight, making it possible to view in daylight without requiring a hood. Plus, the screen is also colour calibrated from the factory to ensure accurate image representation.

Built-in Wi-Fi 6E

The Shinobi 7 RX provides built-in Wi-Fi to pair with an Atomos TX device, and it can even view external RTSP H.264 streams with low-latency wireless under 60ms from up to 984' away.

This allows your crew to move elements on the set freely without losing visual connection.

Touch to Focus

While connected to a compatible camera, you can simply tap the Shinobi 7 RX touchscreen for the camera to automatically focus on your point of interest.

Touch to focus takes advantage of camera focus modes such as focus tracking for effortless control.

Power & Versatile USB-C Connection

The back of the monitor features dual NP-F/L-series battery slots for longer shoot durations, and it can also accept optional battery eliminators/dummy batteries. You can also power the monitor via a USB-C PD input via an optional adapter, external battery, or power bank.

In addition to providing power, the USB-C port can provide camera control for supported cameras. The USB-C port can also be used with external calibrators without the need for a computer.

Audio Monitoring

Input/output embedded audio via HDMI and SDI, and output audio using the 3.5mm headphone port for convenient audio monitoring. There's also a 3.5mm stereo line audio input to monitor external sound.

Image Tools

The monitor runs the latest Atomos firmware that features a variety of onscreen analysis tools such as multi-scope views, exposure, framing, focus assist, waveform, RGB parade, and histogram tools.

An SD card slot allows you to load custom 3D LUTs and apply them to both input and output signals, and they can be used with the built-in image tools for exposure control.

Camera Control

The Shinobi 7 RX supports intuitive camera control for Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony (via USB-C), and Z Cam E2 (via optional serial cable). Its intuitive interface makes adjusting aperture, shutter speed, and ISO fast and responsive.

Depending on the supported camera, it can control features such as Record Trigger, White Balance, Shutter Speed, Shutter Angle, Aperture, ISO, Camera Overlays, Record Indicator, Touch to Focus, and more.

Calibration

The Shinobi 7 RX monitor can be calibrated with Calibrite Display Pro HL/Plus HL probe, and using the Atomos Calibrator app, for ongoing accurate HDR and Rec. 709 monitoring.

Accurate monitoring ensures reliable results.
