Named after Steve Wright, famed for his chaotic BBC afternoon radio shows, the Steve from 3 Legged Thing is a compact boom arm designed for broadcasters, podcasters, and live streamers. With a removable extension column for equipment clearance and flexible height adjustment between 5.7 and 27.8", Steve is a versatile boom arm.

Integrated cable management works together with the tailored equipment clearance of the column for a discreet desktop appearance, helping you to keep your workspace organised. Both 3/8 and 5/8" threaded mounts are provided; combined with support for mics up to 1.00 kg, Steve ensures universal compatibility with most microphones. The Steve boom arm includes a clamp desk mount, a grommet desk mount, hex keys, and reusable cable ties.

With clamp or grommet mounting options, you can decide which option is the ideal choice for you setup. With a clamp, the boom arm is securely affixed to your desk for minimal wobble and is fast and easy to deploy. With a grommet, you get the option of more convenient cable runs through the grommet hole for an even cleaner desktop look. With both 3/8 and 5/8" threaded mounts, you can support most mics, including professional shockmounted USB or condenser mics.
