The 3 Legged Thing Leo 2.0 Tripod is a support system that features three detachable legs and a removable centre column. Each leg can be configured as a monopod with up to a 101 cm height or can be combined with the centre column to form a monopod with up to 141 cm in height.

Tripod heads that are compatible with a 3/8"-16 mount can be connected to the top of the Leo 2.0 Tripod. When configured as a tripod, the Leo 2.0 Tripod supports up to 30 Kg and measures 37 cm when folded. Each of its 5-section legs features an independent spread, a 3-position angle lock, and twist locks for rapid deployment. As a tripod, it can be set at a minimum height of 12.4 cm when its 2-section, push-and-pull rapid centre column is removed. Together, the three legs can be extended to obtain a maximum height of 103 cm or 138 cm with the centre column fully raised. Each of the carbon fibre legs includes a removable rubber foot, which can be substituted with separately available spiked feet to further enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces, including soft or uneven soil.

For added versatility, the Leo 2.0 Tripod's three removable legs can be substituted with separately available 3 Legged Thing footwear accessories for use as a tabletop tripod. A carry bag with a strap is provided for storage and transport.

Use and Handling

As a tripod, supports up to 30 Kg

Push-and-pull centre column with for rapid camera, lens, or sport optic positioning

Center column D-ring to accommodate ballast for additional stability

Can be set for a minimum height of 44 cm or 12.4 cm without the centre column

All three legs can be extended in the tripod configuration to obtain a maximum height of 103 cm or 138 cm with the centre column fully raised

Center column is reversible, facilitating low-angle photography where an attached camera is positioned among the tripod's legs instead of above them

Legs each feature 5 sections with twist locks for rapid deployment and can be independently spread

Legs can be locked at 22, 55, or 80 degree angles

Rubber feet help to enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces

Weighs 1.36 Kg and measures 37 cm when all three legs are reversed 180 degree and folded

Rubber feet can be removed and substituted with separately available 3 Legged Thing spiked feet to further enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces, including soft or uneven soil

Removable legs can be substituted with separately available 3 Legged Thing footwear accessories for use as a table-top tripod

3 Legged Thing Toolz multi-tool to adjust miscellaneous component screws
