Tilting Screen for Easy POV Shots

The Sony ZV-1F features a 3-inch vari-angle screen which can be adjusted to allow users to competently frame all shots, even POV ones. The touch-sensitivity of this LCD screen provides versatility of operation, with the ability to zoom, access frequently used functions and more, simply by touch. This camera comes into its own when paired with the separately available Sony GP-VPT2BT grip and it is comfortable to hold and use as it is, thanks to a freshly designed handgrip.

Fast AF for Various Subjects

Although the lens of the Sony ZV-1F is fixed, users can employ digital zoom to adjust their framing, with 1, 1.5, 2 & 4x options available. This camera can quickly and easily focus on various subjects in many situations, thanks to its rapid-fire 425-point contrast-detection AF system. The ZV-1includes AE face detection, which can be combined with soft skin effect mode, which is great for beauty-style vlogging. Eye autofocus is available in both stills and videos, so if you want to capture a quick selfie or film a short video clip, the camera will focus on the important things to keep your viewers engaged.

Heavy on the Content-Friendly Features

The Sony ZV-1F has a huge range of vlog-friendly features, that content creators of a basic level can use to leapfrog their competition. This includes 5x slow motion and 60x Hyperlapse, and a new interval shooting mode. This camera features a microphone input, so users can pair their camera up with an external option to harness the best quality audio available. For some users, this will not be necessary, as a super high-quality directional 3-capsule microphone is built into the camera, which does an exceptional job and a windscreen is supplied to get the best sound in tricky environments.

More advanced users will also love to shoot their videos with the Sony ZV-F1, with the inclusion of advanced S-Log2 and S-Log3 colour profiles. The included battery provides long-life shooting of around 360 images or 90 minutes of video recording, while if additional time is required, this camera can also run on supplementary power via the USB-C port. The Sony ZV-F1 includes built-in WiFi connectivity, so users can quickly and easily share both their photos and videos, from right where they are, rather than waiting until they are by their computer.
