The integrated T-fader allows you to manually control the speed of transitions, or you can use the take button to actuate your selected transition. The unit features two HDMI outputs, both of which are selectable between program and multiview (with up to 10-views on each output), and output #2 also supports an on-screen menu display. The V-1HD+ also features a four-layer effects engine that supports keying effects, PiP, and downstream keys. It has internal memory for four still images, and you can access external drives via the USB port as an additional image source.

General

The V-1HD+ features PGM and PST busses, as well as a transition/fade bar (T-bar), which are industry-standard video switching controls. Tactile audio volume knobs, signal/peak lights, and unity gain markers enable intuitive sound level adjustments on the fly.

HD Switcher

This compact HD switcher has four HDMI inputs, supporting HD video and PC resolutions. Each input incorporates a frame buffer/TBC that allows you to use non-genlocked cameras and play-out devices as video sources. You select the broadcast system (59.94/50 Hz) within the menu.

Audio Mixer

The built-in 14-channel audio mixer allows you to de-embed audio from the HDMI stream, mix, and re-embed the audio into your output stream. In addition to the embedded audio, the V-1HD+ supports analog audio input via two 3-pin XLR, a left/right pair of RCA connectors, and a 3.5mm stereo mic input.

Audio

Each audio input has its own three-band equalizer, high-pass filter, compressor, and noise gate, plus a sync delay to align audio with video if needed. The XLR and 3.5mm inputs also include de-users to clean up vocal sounds in real-time. The built-in limiter, three-band equalizer, and compressor on the main outputs enable you to deliver broadcast-quality sound over the analog audio outputs.

Live Stream

You can record or live stream the output of the mixer by connecting to a computer

Control Buttons

The soft-rubber backlit buttons allow you to easily see the condition of your switcher, even in dim lighting conditions. The V-1HD+ features the standard source, preview, mix, cut, and auto buttons, fader bar, and fade in/out the knob, as well as four physical memory buttons that allow you to quickly choose up to eight presets for stills and effects sources.

Recording

The unit has a record control button that allows you to start and stop recording to select Atomos recorders via HDMI.

Four-Layer Effects Engine

The V-1HD+ supports up to four composition layers, making it simple to add lower-third titles, logos, social media comments, and more for a polished professional output that will keep the attention of your audience.

Keying

The keying functionality permits picture-in-picture, as well as green screen and graphics keying.

Video Effects

Transition: Cut, mix (dissolve/FAM/NAM), Wipe (8 types)

Composition: PiP (square, circle, diamond), split (2 types), keyer (luminance, chroma), DSK (luminance, chroma)

Other: Flip horizontal, flip vertical, still image capture, still image playback, output fade (audio, video: white or black), test pattern output

Memory

The memory button allows you to save or recall up to eight presets, and the Freeze button can temporarily pause the incoming video.

Panel Buttons

These buttons can be used to switch your video instantly or for applying effects.

Transitions

The T-bar lets you control the speed of your selected transitions.

The switcher can store up to four files in its internal memory and supports the following still image formats:

Bitmap file (.bmp): Maximum 1920 x 1080 pixels, 24-bit color, uncompressed
