Product Overview

NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate A-65G (Champagne Grey)

The NiSi PRO Quick Release plate is an Arca-Swiss/RRS compatible mounting plate for cameras and is made from hard-anodized aluminium for durability. At 65mm long it provides enough stability to be mounted to the largest DLSR / Mirrorless cameras, and will easily support longer telephoto lenses when paired with a lens collar. The anti-slip pads help to keep the quick release plate securely tightened against the base of a camera/lens preventing rotation and slipping.

FAQs

What makes the NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate A-65G suitable for professional use?

The NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate A-65G is designed with professional photographers in mind. Its hard-anodized aluminium construction provides excellent durability, making it resistant to wear and tear during extensive use. Additionally, its compatibility with Arca-Swiss and RRS systems ensures that it can be seamlessly integrated into a professional workflow, allowing for quick transitions between different types of equipment without compromising stability.

How does the anti-slip pad feature enhance functionality?

The anti-slip pads on the NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate are essential for maintaining a secure grip on your camera or lens. They prevent any unwanted rotation or slipping, which is particularly crucial when using larger DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, or when working with longer telephoto lenses. This feature enhances overall stability and confidence during shooting, especially in dynamic environments.

Can the quick release plate be used with different camera models?

Yes, the NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate A-65G is compatible with a wide range of camera models due to its Arca-Swiss and RRS compatibility. This versatility means that whether you are using a high-end DSLR or a mirrorless system, you can easily attach and detach the plate, making it a valuable accessory for photographers who work with various camera bodies.

What is the benefit of the winged screw design on the quick release plate?

The winged screw design on the NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate allows for easy tightening and loosening, enabling photographers to make quick adjustments to their equipment. This feature is particularly beneficial in fast-paced shooting situations where time is of the essence, as it allows for swift changes without the need for additional tools.

How do the dual safety screws contribute to the overall security of the plate?

The dual safety screws on the NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate provide an added layer of security when mounting the plate to compatible Arca-Swiss ball heads or tripod heads. This design minimises lateral movement, ensuring that your camera setup remains stable and secure throughout your shoot, even when working in challenging conditions or while adjusting angles.

What type of camera straps can be used with the integrated strap mount?

The integrated strap mount on the NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate is versatile enough to accommodate various styles of camera straps, including shoulder, chest, and cuff type straps. This feature not only allows for comfortable carrying options but also ensures that the quick release plate remains securely attached to your camera, enhancing the overall usability of your gear.

Is the quick release plate easy to store and transport?

Yes, the NiSi PRO Quick Release Plate A-65G comes with a leather pouch for storage and protection when not mounted to a camera. This pouch not only safeguards the plate from scratches and damage but also makes it convenient to transport alongside your other photography gear, ensuring that it is always ready for use when you need it.
