The Professional Workflow CFexpress 4.0 Type A Card Reader from Lexar is made to pair with one of the drive bays in their Professional Workflow Docking Station and Workflow Go via its 40 Gb/s USB-C interface. However, it also includes a USB-C to USB-C cable, allowing it to be used on its own. In addition to its CFexpress 4.0 Type A card slot, it also features Windows and Mac compatibility, backward compatibility with CFexpress 2.0 Type A, and an aluminium finish for scratch resistance. If your system doesn't support the 40 Gb/s USB4 standard, this card reader is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and later, although it will operate with reduced transfer rates reflective of those standards.
