Precision Optical Design

Featuring an advanced optical construction of 17 elements in 12 groups, this lens delivers exceptional image quality across the frame. The 22.7° diagonal angle of view on a full-frame sensor provides a versatile perspective for macro, product and detail-focused photography, while the electronically controlled aperture can be adjusted directly through the camera in half or third-stop increments for precise exposure control.

Durable Construction for Professional Use

Built with a robust aluminium full-metal housing, the Leica APO-Macro-Elmarit-SL 100 f/2.8 is designed to withstand demanding shooting environments. The lens features a hydrophobic Aqua-Dura® coating on the external element to help repel moisture and dirt, while its dust and splash-resistant construction enhances reliability. Additional features include a Leica L-Mount with electronic contacts, an E67 filter thread and support for firmware updates via the camera.
