Its dual latches compress the lid's O-ring to ensure its IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, with a security feature that prevents them from accidentally opening in the event of a fall or other impact. For extra security, there are hasps for adding optional padlocks or a tie lock when traveling. Additional features include resistance to ultraviolet radiation and acid, reinforced corners for added impact resistance, an automatic purge valve that equalizes the internal pressure and allows you to easily open the case after air travel, and a comfortable hinged handle.
