The Hasselblad Release Cord X for X1D-50c Camera is a 36" long cloth-wrapped cable that plugs into the camera's microphone input port to minimize camera shake caused by pressing the shutter button.

With the camera set in autofocus mode, you can press the single-button remote to engage the autofocus and fire the shutter. Holding the shutter release's button down with the camera set in continuous capture allows you to fire multiple frames, and in manual focus mode, you can fire the camera automatically.
