First RF Lens With An Iris Ring

Get the cinema lens experience with an iris ring that offers highly flexible aperture control allowing you to adjust the depth of field. Enjoy a light smooth torque with no clicking, handy for reducing external noise during movie recording.

Smooth Video Zooming

The RF 24-105mm has a fixed front lens element that doesn't extend, helping maintain the centre of gravity for smooth internal zooming. For further precision and speed control, the lens also be used with the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2/PZ-E2B (sold separately). This can be easily attached and detached without any special tools needed.

Steady Handheld Shots

The RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM Z features in lens Optical Image Stabilization that provides up to 5.5 stops of shake correction and up to 8.0 stops co-ordinated control with an EOS R series camera with IBIS. This helps provide sharp and clear photos and videos when shooting handheld, at long exposure or in low light.

Fast And Quiet Autofocus

Get the best of both worlds with the speed and minimal sound of two Nano USMs. The smooth and accurate autofocus capabilities make tracking moving subject easy, and great for when you're wanting to stay discreet.
