Canon Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A
The Canon Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A is an connector that allows you to use accessories off camera. It's compatible with accessories like flashes, transmitters and external microphones that can be attached to the next generation multi-function shoe. It can also be used with the Multi-Function Shoe Adapter AD-E1 to attach to accessories designed for conventional accessory shoes.
Optimised design
The Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A uses an 80cm straight cord design that is diagonally connected to the camera's multi-function shoe. This angle helps minimise the cord's appearance in images captured with accessories like the RF 5.2mm f/2.8L Dual Fisheye lens.
Dust and water resistant
The Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A features dust and water resistance equivalent to the EOS-1D series. Particular areas are lined with seals and dust and water resistant properties to help protect against unexpected exposure to elements like rain droplets.
