Quick-Release Convenience

Though the LeftField Mini is more compact than LeftField 3 Baseplates, it still features our popular Open UP system for quick-release convenience. This allows you to seamlessly attach the LeftField Mini Baseplate onto any standard ARRI dovetail in moments. When in place, use the lever on the side to transition between locked, sliding and unlocked on the dovetail.

15mm LWS Standard

The LeftField Mini Baseplate has two independently-locking 15mm rod brackets, set to the industry-standard 15mm LWS configuration. For attaching your camera, captive 1/4" and 3/8" screws attach to compatible cameras-and can slide to optimise balance. Rubber inlays on the top provide extra grip on the camera base, to prevent twisting.

Compact Clearance

The LeftField Mini baseplate is the perfect choice for minimalist rigs: a baseplate 40% shorter whilst still boasting full LeftField functionality. The Riser is the essential bridge between camera and baseplate-making sure that your rig is always ready.

Part of the LeftField System

The LeftField system of quick-release baseplates are the most convenient mounting option for professional filmmakers. Our patented Open UP system allows you to cleanly mount your camera rig to any ARRI standard dovetail in moments, and release it just as quickly.
