The cable measures 20" in length and provides a P-Tap connector on one end and an LP-E8 dummy battery on the other end.

The cable is regulated to provide the 8V required to power the camera. The P-Tap provides reverse polarity protection, allowing you to plug the P-Tap connector into your battery either way and will prevent damage to your equipment.
