Ranging Modes

Line of Sight mode displays the actual line-of-sight distance to the target, while Horizontal Component Distance mode provides a slope-compensated distance. Ballistics mode displays the line-of-sight distance along with wind and drop solutions. The Scan feature provides continuous distance readings while panning across a landscape.

Normal and First Target Modes

Normal mode provides the target distance using the strongest ranging result and is suitable for most situations. First mode displays the closest distance detected, making it useful for smaller targets positioned in front of larger or more reflective objects.

Last and Extended Range Modes

Last mode displays the farthest distance detected, making it suitable for locating specific targets behind groups of objects such as brush, trees or rocks. Extended Laser Range mode is designed for targets at extreme distances, with a slightly longer response time to help achieve greater ranging distances.

Rain and Fog Mode

Rain and Fog mode is designed for use in adverse conditions, including rain, snow, fog and dust. It helps the rangefinder provide reliable distance readings when visibility is reduced.
