Tilta Illusion Glimmer Filter Kit (95mm)

This 95mm Illusion Glimmer Filter Kit from Tilta can be used to create a cinematic look by lowering contrast within the frame to create halos around light sources for an ethereal effect. Made of water white optical glass, the filters in this kit have strength grades of 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8, with the filter effect becoming approximately twice as strong as a grade number increases. Double-sided nano-coating adds scratch and smudge resistance and prevents reflection. Each filter measures 95mm in diameter.

Glimmer filters are commonly used to create a glow around light sources with reduced contrast with desaturated colour s and blooming highlights, while retaining shadow detail. The all-glass filter can be used with the optional 95mm circular filter tray for the Mirage Matte Box.
