Tether Tools AeroTrac Workstation Ultimate Tethering Kit

The AeroTrac Workstation Ultimate Tethering Kit by Tether Tools is a foldable and modular workstation plate and rolling stand setup suitable for use in filmmaking and other creative environments. The 17 x 11 x 0.35" workstation folds down to 11 x 8.5 x 0.75" for a quick setup and breakdown. It features integrated cold shoe mounting rails for adding accessories and a magnetic locking system that prevents the plate from accidentally opening while in transit. The kit includes clamps, handles, straps, and hooks for attaching video accessories and equipment. Mount the workstation to most tripods via 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 interface or clamp to the rolling stand. A baby ball head adapter is included. Set up the plate as a stand-alone station with four included legs. When it's time to travel, the included carrying case makes transportation a breeze. Review takes and monitor your footage on a separately available monitor with the included Rock Solid VESA Studio Monitor Mount, which mounts most VESA compliant displays. A 13.61 kg weight capacity secures your gear.

Their low-profile, dual-sided non-marring pads help safeguard screens and keyboards while maintaining a firm grip on devices ranging from 3.6 to 16 mm thick. The stepped design accommodates both thinner and thicker equipment, and each set includes two clamps for flexible mounting options. Silicone Tech Straps further expand mounting possibilities, allowing external batteries, hard drives and mini CPUs to be secured in virtually any orientation.

Quick Access and Workspace Control

The included Configuration Tool mounts directly into any compatible track system, ensuring it is always within reach when adjustments are needed. It features a 2.5 mm hex key for AeroTrac accessory installation and a 4 mm hex key suitable for tripods and a wide range of photo and video accessories. Action Tabs simplify setup and pack down with a magnetic locking system that helps secure the workstation, while integrated 1/4"-20 threads provide additional mounting points for accessories.

Flexible Mounting and Organisation

Integrated 1/4"-20 threads can be positioned anywhere on the top or underside of the platform, making it easy to attach lights, monitors, speakers, arms and other production equipment. Optional workstation legs elevate the platform for more comfortable use, supporting either angled viewing with two legs or a flat working surface with four. Additional hooks help keep cables, bags and lanyards organised, creating a cleaner and more efficient workspace.

Transport and Storage Solutions

Designed for mobile workflows, the weather-resistant poly webbing handle provides a durable carrying option while maintaining a lightweight profile. The AeroTrac Carrying Case offers organised storage with dedicated interior and exterior accessory pockets, along with a shoulder strap and top handle for comfortable transport. A built-in power cable pass-through allows equipment to remain connected for charging while stored, helping streamline workflow between locations.
