The adapter is part of the Wireless Camera Control Kit for the Teradek Bolt 4K series, designed to facilitate wireless camera control when you have the Smart 7 optional SmallHD camera control software license installed for your camera. The unit plugs into the USB port on the bottom of the SmallHD monitor, and it provides two 5-pin connectors to facilitate the wireless connection to the Bolt 4K receiver.
