24.2 Megapixel Sensor with BIONZ X Image Processor

The Sony a6400 mirrorless camera combines a 24.2 Megapixel sensor with a super-fast BIONZ X image processor to deliver detailed. high-resolution photos and video. Thanks to its bigger full frame siblings. the a6400 also inherits improved colour reproduction for more accurate. life-like images.

Enhanced Noise Suppression for Detailed. Clear Images

Building on the image sensor and processor. the camera also improved noise suppression. perfect for shooting clear images in lowlight. The native ISO range has been increased to a maximum ISO 32000. giving you the flexibility to work in the mid to high ISO range without worry.

11fps Burst and Silent Shooting

The processor also supports the camera's impressive 11fps continuous shooting and low buffer speed for up to 116 JPEGs or 46 RAW images in a single burst. Silent shooting is also accessible at up to 8fps. so you can quietly capture as many images as you need.

4K Video and Advanced Colour Profiles

Record incredible UHD 4K video without time limits and increase your creativity instead of your editing time. The a6400 includes S-Log and HLG picture profiles for advanced colour grading options. allowing you to personalise the look and feel of your video.

HD Recording and Slow Motion

Of course. if you're after video that's easier to share right away. you can also record in ultra-clear Full HD. Smaller file sizes help streamline your editing and sharing on the go. so you can upload content faster. S&Q Mode is also available in camera capturing slow motion up to 5x or quick motion up to 60x. giving you the flexibility to highlight those perfect moments as you see fit.

Real-Time Tracking and Eye AF

Adding to the world's fastest 0.02 second autofocus response time. the camera also has Real-Time Tracking built on AI-based subject recognition. This detects and follows your subjects more reliably than ever; just touch and track. it's that simple. It even works with Eye AF. maintaining crystal clear focus even when your subject is moving fast. Left or right eye selection is also enabled.

Mic-Input for Advanced Audio Recording

Sony's Alpha 6400 has an integrated stereo microphone to capture audio. along with a 3.5mm jack that can accommodate separately available external microphones. This gives you more control over your audio recording and quality. allowing you to edit and sync sound and video later on. It's also compatible with separately available XLR adapters for use with pro-level audio equipment.

180° Flip-Up Screen and OLED Viewfinder

Complementing the host of vlog-friendly features is a 3-inch tilt screen that flips up 180°. allowing you to easily check that you're still in frame. The screen also has a touch-pad function that makes it easy to do things like select focus. set tracking. and snap photos. There's also bright. high-resolution XGA OLED electronic viewfinder for more precise framing in any kind of lighting.

Time-Lapse and Creative Modes

A newly introduced interval shooting mode allows you to easily shoot time-lapse sequences. Set your recording interval anywhere from 1-60 seconds to capture the passage of time and view it later in short. bite-size videos. Photo Capture mode lets you extract stills from your video. so you can choose the perfect frame and share it as beautifully detailed image.

Pop-Up Flash and Multi-Interface Hot Shoe

A convenient pop-up flash can be activated when you need to bounce a little extra light onto your subject. The camera also features a Multi Interface (Mi) accessory shoe that lets you attach separately available flashes and other accessories.

Wi-Fi and NFC Connectivity

Built-in Wi-Fi and NFC compatibility makes it easy to connect the camera to supported mobile devices for easy. fast sharing. It also enables intuitive remote control over the camera for times where you need to be a little more hands-off.

Custom Menu and Visualised Set-Up

The Sony A6400 has a more intuitive. easy to use menu system. The My Menu feature allows you to create a custom menu page with up to 30 of your most frequently used settings. The buttons and dial can be customised for better control that suits your shooting style. with a handy visualised set-up screen to speed up and simplify the process.
