Offering both strength and speed, the Sony 480GB CFexpress 4.0 Type A Tough Memory Card provides fast read speeds up to 1800 MB/s along with write speeds up to 1700 MB/s, thanks to its PCIe Gen 4.0 bus. This quick performance benefits recording a variety of video resolutions, bit-rates, and compressions as well as high-resolution continuous raw photo shooting.

Beyond its speed, this memory card also has a reinforced physical design to withstand falls from up to 24' and has been rigidity tested to 150 N of force. It's also resistant to extreme temperatures, X-rays, electrostatic, and UV lighting. Offering further protection, File Rescue recovery software can be downloaded for recovering lost or even accidentally deleted files and Media Scan Utility can be used to automatically scan CFexpress cards and inform you of the flash memory condition.

CFexpress 4 Support for High-Speed Transfer

This memory card supports the CFexpress 4 standard for high-speed transfer with VPG400 (Video Performance Guarantee) certification for stable recording. With five times the drop strength and ten times the bend resistance of the CFexpress Type A standard, this card can withstand tough conditions.

High Capacity for Long Recording and Speed

This memory card has 480GB of storage capacity, so you can shoot confidently without worrying about space. This is ideal for long 4K video sessions or high-speed still bursts in action scenes.

High-Speed Performance

With a PCIe Gen 4 bus, this memory card has a max read speed of 1800 MB/s and a max write speed of 1700 MB/s, which is up to 2.4 times faster than the previous model. This memory card is ideal for demanding workflows, helping you streamline and boost productivity while in the field or at your desk.

Dependable Videography with VPG400

VPG400 certified, this memory card ensures stable video recording with a sustained writing speed of 400 MB/s. This helps prevent dropped frames, even during high bitrate shooting.

Tough Design

Thanks to Sony's unique Tough card design, this memory card offers over ten times the CFexpress Type A standard bend resistance, with additional rigidity tested to 150 netwons of force. The resin body is also five times more impact-resistant, allowing it to withstand drops from up to 24'.

IP57 Rated

This memory card will work in extreme temperatures, X-rays, electrostatic environments, and intense UV light. With an IP57 rating, this card is dust and moisture resistance, ideal for the outdoors.

Recover Lost Files

If things go wrong, you can avoid disaster and download the Memory Card File Rescue software for Sony memory cards. This free software can recover accidentally deleted files and corrupted photos and videos in common formats.
