SkyWatcher Fusion 300DXI Goto Mount (Mount Only)

The Sky-Watcher Fusion 300DXi is a new-generation computerised Alt-Azimuth mount designed for maximum versatility, high payload capacity and simple setup - suited to both visual observing and advanced astrophotography. Its design combines a movable ALT arm with an AZ base in a single, compact system that's easy to transport and quick to install.

The adjustable ALT arm slides along the AZ base to balance a wide range of optical tubes, making the mount flexible enough for many different telescope combinations. Built-in Wi-Fi and control via the SynScan App remove the need for a traditional hand controller (still available separately as an optional accessory), giving an intuitive way to run the mount from a smartphone, tablet or PC.

Dual-axis clutches paired with Sky-Watcher's proprietary Freedom-Find dual-encoder technology mean the mount can be repositioned by hand at any time without losing its alignment. In its native Alt-Azimuth configuration the Fusion 300DXi carries payloads up to 30 kg - ideal for visual astronomy and casual imaging. For long-exposure deep-sky astrophotography, the mount can be converted to full equatorial operation with the optional Fusion Equatorial Wedge (sold separately, SKU SWFUSIONWEDGE), which also unlocks the 0-70° latitude and ±14° azimuth fine-adjustment needed for accurate polar alignment.
