Profoto Softbox 5’ Octa White

Soft light with natural wrap

The Profoto Softbox 5’ Octa creates a stunning, soft light and sets up in seconds thanks to its integrated speedring. Its circle-like shape generates natural catchlights in the subject’s eyes, making it perfect for lighting people. The Octa shape produces equally soft or hard edges on all sides, making it ideal for fashion, beauty, portrait and interview lighting.

Featuring an all-in-one mount design, the Profoto Softbox 5’ Octa White is incredibly easy to set up with a quick fold/unfold solution. In addition, it provides adjustable softness and intensity of light through its removable and interchangeable diffusers. The recessed front evenly delivers a distribution of natural-looking light, and as it is heat-resistant, it is compatible with the full range of Profoto 100 mm flashes and LED lights.

Built for demanding setups, the Profoto Softbox 5’ Octa White features a reinforced construction to ensure stability and reliability on set. The upgraded Velcro attachments securely hold diffusers and grids in place, while four integrated safety-wire attachment points provide added security when rigging. The classic Profoto clamp mount ensures a robust connection to your light, designed for demanding professional productions.

With a range of accessories available, the Profoto Softbox 5’ Octa White provides complete creative freedom for those who seek precise control over their lighting setups.

The white interior diffuses the light evenly to create natural-looking illumination with reduced contrast and shadows.

Note: When used with a ProHead on power level 10 (2400 Ws) together with continuous light (500 W) on full effect, a maximum of 8 flashes per minute is recommended to prevent the speedring from getting too hot to touch.
