Profoto ProDaylight 400 Air HMI Basic Kit

This Profoto ProDaylight 400 Air HMI Basic Kit contains everything you'll need to add Profoto's renowned quality of light to your photo, video or film work. Included are the ProDaylight 400 head, head cable, the ProBallast 200/400 and a mains cable. A metal transport cap and a frosted glass dome are also provided.

Profoto is renowned for its benchmark strobe packs and heads but the same quality extends to virtually every piece of equipment they make. The ProDaylight 400 Air HMI Head is a case in point.

While there are a lot of HMIs on the market, few have the advanced design of the ProDaylight Air and virtually none have compatibility with the extensive line of renowned Profoto light-shaping tools which have been helping create great images for photographers for many years. Now videographers and cinematographers can experience the Profoto magic. Photographers will appreciate the unit's flash-friendly colour temperature.

The included ProBallast 200/400 is a flicker-free power supply for both the ProDaylight 200 and ProDaylight 400 HMI heads. With its integral handle and sturdy design, the ProBallast is meant to travel and you can use it anywhere there's electricity thanks to its self-sensing multi-voltage power supply. Even the output frequency is adjustable to 50, 100 or 300Hz, while the power is dimmable from 100-50%. But there's more. Let's not forget that the "Air" in the name implies remote control and you can indeed control the light output wirelessly as well as power on and off from an optional Profoto Air Remote or Air Sync Transceiver. In fact, using Profoto's Studio software, you can create and control multiple lighting setups via computer.

Key Features:

400W HMI Output Power

Daylight 5900K Colour Temperature
