Profoto continues to expand its line of all-in-one quick softboxes with this 4' Octa Softbox with white interior. The difference is that now the brand brings a white inner colour instead of silver to provide greater softening of the light. This is part of a line of softboxes with an all-in-one mount design that allows photographers to quickly shape their light. This 4' softbox sets up in seconds, offering an easy-to-use fold/unfold solution. Besides the benefit of speed, this octa softbox is made with a high-quality fabric. It works great to wrap your subject in a flattering, evenly distributed soft light. The modifier has a convenient, integrated speed ring that suits all 100mm Profoto light heads. A carry case is included for storage and transport.

Profoto decided to launch white interior softboxes that result in studio-quality soft lighting wherever you need it. Unlike silver softboxes, a white interior evenly softens the output and reduces contrast while it renders natural-looking illumination.

Able to soften and diffuse light, the octa softbox is a classic modifier that features a heat-resistant design. It can safely support a variety of different types of fixtures such as flashes using halogen as continuous light up to 500W.

Widely Compatible

This octa softbox easily sets up without requiring an additional speed ring to mount select Profoto lights. It works with all Profoto 100mm light heads. You can also make it compatible with Profoto A-Series flashes, which requires a separately available OCF adapter.

Additional Accessories

This softbox is still fully compatible with all the accessories available for the Profoto silver ones, such as other separately available diffuser kits. Users can pick up a separately available fabric softgrid, as well, to control light spill. An edge mask is also available for this model. Optional accessories easily attach to the octa softbox via touch-fasteners.
