PolarPro McKinnon Helix UV Filter

Designed to protect lenses from inclement weather and drops, this McKinnon Helix UV Filter from PolarPro is a coated filter to keep dust, heat, and rain from affecting the lens. Constructed to prevent fogging and vignetting, this UV filter maintains colour neutrality and absorbs excess ultraviolet light. Designed with MagLock technology, the filter features a magnetic-quarter-turn locking design that securely locks into place after installing a separately available thread base. Constructed with premium glass technology and a brass ring, the filter is easy to attach and durably constructed. It includes magnetic front and rear caps to protect and store the filter.

Attach to a Helix Base Plate

This UV filter will fit onto any Helix Base Plate for maximum flexibility. Install the threaded base plate on your lens then attach the UV filter with a simple magnetic-plus-quarter-turn locking design for a secure fit. Up to 10 times stronger than traditional magnetic filters, the MagLock technology's magnetic design keeps the filter and its protection cap in place.
