28mm Wide-Angle Lens with 5x Optical Zoom

Capture vast landscapes and detailed close-ups alike with the WG-90's 5x optical zoom lens, which provides coverage from 5mm to 25mm (28mm to 140mm full-frame equivalent).

Tough Construction

The heavy-duty build of the WG-90 is integral to its reliability in the field allows you to use it for a wide range of applications. You're able to photograph underwater at depths as low as 46' for up to two hours of continuous operation (equivalent to IPX 8 or JIS Class 8). Additionally, the WG-90 is shockproof against falls from heights up to 5', freeze-proof to temperatures as low as -10°C/14°F, and crushproof against weights up to 100kgf (kilogram force).

2.7" LCD Display with Outdoor View Mode

Equipped with a 2.7" LCD, the WG-90 allows you to preview your images with ease. Excellent screen visibility is provided and can be improved for dimly-lit situations with the Outdoor View Setting mode. Also, the monitor features an antireflection coating to reduce unwanted glaring and reflections.

Adjustable Macro Lighting

Six LED macro lights surround the camera lens to provide illumination on a subject during macro shooting. In Macro Lighting mode, brightness intensity can be adjusted in five levels.

Full HD Movie Recording

Full HD movie recording at 30 fps is available in H.264 format. Slow-motion video recording is made available with the High Speed Movie mode. Video editing features are built into the WG-90 allowing you to split video or create stills from selected frames. The camera's HDMI connector (Type D) lets you display movies on a TV or other device.

Triple Anti-Shake Protection

Pixel Track SR is a mechanism for compensating against camera shake by digitally processing affected still images.

Digital SR mode allows the WG-90 to automatically detect low-lighting conditions during still-image shooting. Sensitivity as high as ISO 6400 allows higher shutter speeds to be used, effectively minimizing the negative effects caused by camera shake.

Movie SR mode compensates for the misalignment of images caused by camera shake through the use of exclusive software to produce clips with considerably reduced image blur.

Additional Camera Features

A macro stand can be used to maintain a minimum focusing distance of 10mm to your subject when shooting in Macro mode.

Auto Picture mode selects the most appropriate shooting mode from 16 unique scene modes.

High-speed Face Detection rapidly captures up to 32 faces in focus.

Smile Capture automatically releases the shutter when your subject's smile is detected.

Outdoor-friendly Style Watch function to display the time on the LCD monitor, using an extended push of the OK button when the camera’s power is turned off.

Delay-free, push-button start of the playback mode, using an extended push of the playback button.
