NiSi Filter System for Ricoh GR3 (Professional Kit)

This NiSi Professional Filter Kit contains four filters that can be used individually or in various combinations to improve the results of your photography when using a Ricoh GR III digital camera. Included is a neutral density filter that can be used to create a darkening of the entire image; a medium-edge graduated neutral density filter, which prevents overexposure in specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image; a polariser to prevent distracting reflections or glare; and a filter to reduce the appearance of light pollution in images or video that include the night sky and illumination from artificial light sources.

To allow these filters to be used with a Ricoh GR III digital camera, this kit contains a push-on filter holder that is designed to allow for the convenient use of up to two 40mm wide, 1.5mm thick filters.

A zippered pouch is also included to store and transport this kit.

NiSi Filter Holder for Ricoh GR III Digital Camera

Durable aluminium alloy, push-on filter holder provides two pairs of filter slots, a configuration that accommodates up to two separately available 40mm wide, 1.5mm thick filters

Each slot is designed to grip an installed filter only along the surface of the filter's edges, avoiding contact with a filter's front or rear-facing surfaces

NiSi P1 Prosories 0.9 Filter (3-Stop)

Darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required

Providing a 3-stop exposure reduction, this filter allows you to control depth of field and convey movement more easily

Filter does not affect colouration of the image and is ideal for use with other filters

Each surface includes one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating that attenuates infrared light as well as visible wavelengths to maintain colour neutrality and suppress colour casts due to increased exposure times

Nano coating provides an improved beading effect with water or oil for more efficient cleaning

Constructed from optical glass for clarity

NiSi P1 Prosories Medium-Edge Graduated IRND 0.9 Filter (3-Stop)

Darkens bright areas of an image, such as skies, while leaving the remainder of the frame unaffected

8x filter factor provides up to a 3-stop reduction of light in selective areas

Medium-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas

Useful for images that include elements like rooftops and mountains that protrude into the sky

NiSi P1 Prosories HD Linear Polariser

Helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarised due to reflection from a non-metallic surface

Polarising filters arrange and filter directionally polarised light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of the light

Clears up haze in distant landscapes and provides more saturated, vivid colours

Strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun

Recommended when not using in-camera exposure metering or autofocus

Reduces exposure by 1 to 1.5 stops

Constructed using optical glass for clarity

NiSi P1 Prosories Natural Night Filter

Reduces the appearance of light pollution in images or video that include the night sky and illumination from artificial light sources

For cameras with daylight film installed or a digital camera system with its daylight white balance setting selected

Absorbs the yellow light from sodium-vapor or mercury-vapor lamps, common light sources within urban areas

Enhances the visibility of astronomical objects, and, where they appear, artificial light sources are more clearly defined with less glare and improved contrast

Reduces exposure by 0.6 to 1.5 stops

Constructed from optical glass for clarity

Each glass surface includes one layer of nano coating that results in an improved beading effect when in contact with water or oil for greater cleaning efficiency

NiSi P1 Prosories Case

Designed to accommodate a compatible filter holder and up to four 40 x 40mm or 40 x 60mm filters

Soft, nonabrasive interior lining
