Nikon Lens Hood HB-101

The Nikon Lens Hood HB-101 is designed primarily to prevent lens flare and ghosting caused by stray light entering the lens. By blocking unwanted light sources, it helps to enhance contrast and improve overall image quality. Additionally, the hood offers some physical protection for the lens, reducing the risk of damage from accidental bumps or impacts.

The HB-101 lens hood is specifically designed for the NIKKOR Z DX 18-140mm f/3.5-6.3 VR lens. For optimal performance, it is best to use the lens hood that is specifically recommended for your lens model.
