A New Quality of Smoke - in Photos, Videos and on Stage

Sometimes one photo or video shot needs just that - a light mist, a mysterious atmosphere, a swirl of light. Newell Mr Mist was created for everyone who works with images and wants to have even better control over the atmosphere of the frame. This mobile and cordless device that generates high-density smoke and stable aerosol ejection can run for up to 30 minutes on a single charge. It is ideal for studio, outdoor, portrait shoots, product shots or videos that require a "wow" effect. And all this in a compact case that you can easily fit in your backpack.

One Generator, Many Types of Smoke

Newell Mr Mist offers far more than ordinary smoke, giving you complete control over the character and intensity of each effect. Interchangeable tips and precise output adjustment allow you to create everything from a delicate mist floating softly in the background for added depth, to a pinpoint stream resembling incense for detailed product photography. Produce heavy smoke effects similar to dry ice for dramatic cinematic scenes, or direct smoke precisely towards a subject such as plated food using the flexible nozzle attachment. A wide diffused stage effect can also be created to enhance light rays during concerts, fashion shoots or live productions. This versatility makes the Newell Mr Mist an ideal creative tool for photographers, filmmakers and set designers across a wide range of styles and industries.

The Magic of Coloured Smoke

What would smoke be without light? Newell Mr Mist takes a creative approach to this question. You'll find a special magnetic module with a built-in RGB ring and an additional fan. It will make your frames even more interesting - from cool blue tones to fiery red. It's a powerful narrative tool that works well in both portrait photography and staged video frames. Lighting smoke with such precision allows you to achieve studio-like effects, even in home or outdoor settings. The ability to adjust the colour infinitely gives you almost unlimited influence over the mood of the scene.

Remote Control with Remote Control

When shooting some scenes, it is difficult to trigger the generator at the right moment without entering the frame and creating unnecessary chaos on the set. It's also particularly difficult to work with a fume hood when you're working alone with camera in hand or directing a scene from afar. That's why you'll find a remote control with a range of up to 10 meters included with the Newell Mr Mist. With it, you can conveniently turn the device on and off, change backlight colours and adjust the operation of the device without interrupting the shot. It's a solution that gives you full freedom on set - whether you're shooting a dynamic music video, taking product shots or creating atmospheric shots in your home studio.

Full Automation of Work

Creating a scene that requires a precise rhythm of smoke ejections? Newell Mr Mist will take care of it for you. A special mode allows you to precisely program the length of a single smoke ejection, the interval time between cycles and the number of repetitions. This is ideal when working with stage movement, choreography or directed shots. Instead of manually pressing a button, you set everything once - and are assured that the effect will be exactly as you planned. No stress, no trial and error, instead full repeatability.

Unique Moving Head

Instead of a vertical, classic body, Newell Mr Mist offers a special pivoting head that sets this smoke generator apart from competing brands. It's a detail that changes everything. With a 60-degree tilt range, you can precisely direct the smoke without awkwardly maneuvering the entire device. Do you want the aerosol not to be released upwards? Just change the angle of the head.

From a Fine Mist to a Dense Cloud

Newell Mr Mist allows you to adjust the intensity of the smoke in up to 25 levels. All thanks to the separate adjustment of the density of the cloud and the strength of its ejection. With 40 watts of power and a reservoir for 12 ml of liquid, the device can produce up to twice as much smoke as classic low-watt smokers of competing brands. You can successfully achieve a subtle background haze effect or create a dense, dramatic veil that fills the entire room.

Safe to Use

Newell Mr Mist smoke generator is not only functional, but also fully safe. The housing made of heat-resistant materials and a temperature sensor eliminate the risk of overheating. This is especially important when working indoors or in hot outdoor conditions. The included liquid is odorless and safe - it is based on vegetable glycerin, leaves no residue and does not irritate the respiratory tract. You can even use it near food, clothing or electronics.

Easy Operation and Quick Start

The makers of the Newell Mr Mist smoke generator have made working with the device simple and convenient. The refilling system works intuitively - just lift the silicone cover and add a special liquid based on vegetable glycerin. The whole thing is ready to work in a few seconds. It is operated with ergonomic buttons, and you will find all the information about the settings on the backlit screen.

Convenient and Safe Transportation

Included with the Mr Mist smoke generator you will find a sturdy, zippered carrying case, which is designed for convenient and safe transportation. Each item in the kit here has its own matching compartment, so nothing moves or gets knocked around during travel. The stiffened construction protects the contents from shocks and pressure, and an internal mesh pocket allows you to safely store small accessories such as cables or replaceable tips.

Applications for Mr Mist

This compact smoke generator is perfect for creating striking visual effects across a wide range of productions. It adds depth, mystery and soft atmospheric lighting to creative portraits and beauty shoots, while culinary photographers can use it to simulate steaming dishes, grilling effects, dry ice or dramatic plate smoke. In product photography, smoke helps create emotional impact by suggesting luxury, power or intrigue. It is also ideal for music videos and video productions where added dynamism and cinematic atmosphere are needed. For events and live performances, smoke effects enhance the overall setting and audience engagement, while vlog, reel and TikTok creators can easily elevate the look of their home studio productions.
