Nanlite U165Dt 165Cm Deep Translucent Umbrella

While 65" Translucent Deep Umbrella 165 was designed for NanLite P-series monolights, but 8mm shaft makes it compatible with most LED, strobe, and constant light fixtures. The light source can be slid anywhere along shaft to focus and de-focus the output to vary coverage. Made from neutral-white material, the umbrella creates a soft, natural-looking quality of light with medium contrast and open shadows. The facility to "shoot through" the modifier is one of its handy features. Instead of bouncing the light in the traditional way, point the outside, convex surface of the umbrella at your subject and pump the light through it to add contrast while maintaining softness.

Translucent Material

Made from neutral-white, translucent material, the NanLite Deep Umbrella 165 softens and broadens the light by allowing it to pass through it, creating natural-looking, diffuse light with very soft shadows, while its 16-rod design maintains its rigid shape for evenly spread light.

Wide Diameter

Thanks to its 65" diameter, the Translucent Deep Umbrella 165 creates light with a wrap-around quality and a broad beam angle that's ideal for a wide coverage of groups, large spaces, etc.

Deep Shape

Thanks to its depth, the umbrella creates light with a wrap-around quality while maintaining increased directional control and easy feathering.

Precise Control

For further adjustment, light sources can be positioned anywhere along the umbrella's shaft to control contrast and coverage by focusing or de-focusing the light.

Wide Compatibility

Designed for use with NanLite's P-series LED moonlights, the Translucent Deep Umbrella 165 utilizes an 8mm shaft making it compatible with umbrella mounts on most LED, strobe, and constant lights.
