Leofoto VR-400 Arca Swiss Long Lens Support

The Leofoto VR-400 is a professional-grade long lens support solution, engineered for photographers and videographers who work with large telephoto lenses and demand rock-solid stability, precise alignment, and effortless adjustability. Built to Arca-Swiss standards and CNC-machined from aircraft-grade aluminium, the VR-400 delivers exceptional strength and reliability in a compact, lightweight form.

Designed to minimise lens sag and camera-lens mount stress, the VR-400 features a 400mm long dovetail rail with precision-engraved scale markings, allowing for accurate balancing and repeatable setups. The sliding lens and camera support plates can be finely adjusted along the length of the rail and locked in place using the dedicated knurled tension knobs. This ensures optimal load distribution across both the camera and lens, essential when working with long telephoto setups, especially during wildlife, sports, or astrophotography shoots.

The robust lens support bracket features a 1/4 screw that secures to your lens's tripod collar, while the camera support plate features its own adjustable 1/4 screw for securing to the camera base. Both components are independently adjustable to accommodate various camera-lens combinations, allowing for maximum compatibility and flexibility.

With its hollow-out spider design, the VR-400 maintains structural integrity while shedding excess weight-resulting in a manageable 330g without compromising durability. The hard-anodised finish resists corrosion and wear, even in harsh outdoor environments, making it ideal for demanding fieldwork.

The VR-400 is fully compatible with all Arca-Swiss standard ball heads, clamps, and tripod systems, ensuring seamless integration into your existing support gear. The unit comes complete with a protective box, QC certificate, hangtag, instruction manual, warranty card, and a set of three Allen wrenches for adjustments.
