Redesign of a Classic

Crafted to replicate the unique bokeh produced from the original version of this lens released in 1959, this modernised rendition incorporates the latest manufacturing techniques, glass elements, and lens coatings to ensure excellent optical performance. This lens marks the fifth addition to the Leica Classic Line and is the first in the brand's newly designed packaging.

Superb Build Quality

Its brass construction with chrome-plated surface finish gives the lens a sturdy design and attractive appearance.

Made in Germany, this prime lens is made by hand with technical precision.

Weighing just 0.4 kg, it is both durable and travel-friendly.

Features a compact design that measures 2.3" in diameter and 1.8" in length.

Additional Lens Benefits

The included vintage lens hood prevents unwanted light from entering the lens and offers added protection against accidental impacts.

The optical design features 7 elements in 5 groups as well as a 12-bladed diaphragm for producing high-quality images and improved bokeh.

The front of the lens is threaded to accept 46mm screw-in filters.
