Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binocular durable and comfortable to use. They have an open-bridge design that allows the hand to wrap completely around the optical tubes while reducing weight and bulk. A lightweight and durable aluminium alloy chassis further cuts weight and is protected by green rubberized armour that is textured to give them a non-slip grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fog proof - especially in extreme weather conditions. A right-eye diopter adjustment allows the binoculars to be customized to most people's needs, and a tripod adapter mount on the front hinge allows them to be put on a stable support system for long observation sessions.
