AdaptiveTone 2.0 meters each lens independently and remaps tones to protect highlights, lift shadows and even out colour across the frame. After dark, PureVideo Mode uses two ambient light sensors to cut flicker and drag detail out of the shadows, and portrait optimisation keeps skin tones natural with no post-production.

Shoot in 10-bit for over 1.07 billion colours with your pick of colour profiles, or use I-Log to keep the full dynamic range intact for grading. As the first 360 camera with native in-camera Dolby Vision, the X6 delivers dynamic contrast and brightness that look finished the moment you stop recording.

A Gimbal Cam in Your Pocket

InstaFrame 2.0 rebuilds tracking from the ground up. Tap once to lock onto a person, pet or object and the camera follows smoothly on its own. It outputs 4K flat video ready to share while keeping the 8K 360 file as backup. With no rotation limits and no delicate motors, it survives knocks that would end a gimbal camera's day.

Action Cam When You Need One

Switch to flat video and shoot up to 5K60fps, 5K30fps at a 170° field of view, or 4K120fps for slow motion. Photographers get 120MP 360 stills, with AI analysing the scene to serve up a flat portrait, landscape or Tiny Planet crop automatically.

PanoMind, Insta360's in-house multimodal AI model, powers AI Director. It reviews, frames and edits your footage while the camera charges, then sends a finished clip to your phone.
