The IDX ID-VL-2PLUS 2-Channel Sequential Quick Charger with 60-Watt Power is a two-channel, sequential Li-Ion (Lithium-Ion) fast charger with a built-in 60W power supply. Up to two Li-Ion Endura V-mount batteries can be charged in 5 hours.

The IDX ID-VL-2PLUS 2-Channel Sequential Quick Charger with 60-Watt Power is a two-channel, sequential Li-Ion (Lithium-Ion) fast charger with a built-in 60W power supply. Up to two Li-Ion Endura V-mount batteries can be charged in 5 hours.

Features:

Sequential(one at a time) 2-channel lithium-ion battery charger

Integrated 60W DC power supply provides 60W XLR output for the camera, lighting and ancillary broadcast devices

VL-2PLUS compatible batteries: All ENDURA V-Mount Li-ion batteries, and all NP Li-ion/Ni-CD batteries from IDX can be charged with an A-E2NP adaptor, available separately

Internal safety features protect both the battery and charger from serious damage should faulty or misused batteries be placed on charge. The VL-2PLUS will automatically stop charging should any battery reach an overvoltage condition

Lightweight, high impact polycarbonate enclosure weighs a total of just 2 lbs., and features a recessed power switch and integrated carry handle

Universal AC input voltage for worldwide operation

Portability

The VL-2 offers a lightweight design (1.5 kg) with a convenient built-in handle.

V-Mount

The highly reliable V-Mount, battery mount is becoming more and more prevalent on many new broadcast and professional camcorders. In response, IDX has adapted the design of their batteries and chargers to with the V-Mount design.

Condition Indicator

An LED condition indicator is offering a quick glance at each batteries charge status.

Power Supply

A standard 4-Pin Canon type connector is available on the front panel for 60 watts of DC power.

Red (charging)

Green (complete/trickle)

Orange (battery fault)

World-Wide AC Power

As with all IDX chargers, the VL-2's power switch is recessed to prevent an accidental loss of power. A worldwide, auto-sensing AC power (AC 100-240V) operation is standard.
