DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo

1-Inch Sensor

DJI's 1-inch sensor helps deliver high-definition footage in various scenarios, low-noise night shots, and high-dynamic range capabilities in high-contrast scenarios. When paired with the physical gimbal, it can achieve even slower shutter speeds, making the night shots pop.

1-Inch: Finer Details

For photography enthusiasts and professionals, clarity is the key. They aim to capture every possible detail and convey their shots with an authentic and artistic feel.

1-Inch: Higher Light-Catching Performance

This size allows for greater light intake through the lens. With an f/2.0 aperture, even more light enters your camera lens. It's a game-changer for low-light environments, such as indoor shooting or nighttime/twilight captures. Less image noise, less blur, more details.

f/2.0: Shallow Depth-of-Field for Close-Ups

It's perfect for shooting portraits or highlighting subjects such as people or flowers.

f/2.0: Solution for Low-Light Shooting

A wider aperture enhances shooting capabilities in low-light conditions. In dimly lit environments, a wider aperture boosts the camera's sensitivity, enabling it to capture bright, clear images without excessively relying on flash or high ISO settings.

Ideal Scenarios

Nighttime city view, sunrises, sunsets, other high-contrast scenes, as well as indoor and outdoor shots

2-Inch Rotatable Screen

Shoot With a Twist | Smart Horizontal-Vertical Shooting | Expanded Touch Area

The 2-inch OLED screen is a significant upgrade from that of DJI Pocket 2, boasting a display area 4.7 times larger and supporting 100% P3 wide colour gamut. The upgraded screen delivers richer colours and higher contrast. The image size is larger, presenting clearer details, and both horizontal and vertical shots can be displayed on full screen. Double-tap your subject on the screen to start tracking or rotate the screen to power on or off the device quickly.

Easy Framing and Composition:

The large screen offers users a generous viewfinder area, streamlining framing and composition. This allows for a clear vision of the scene's intricacies, facilitating the optimal arrangement of elements for desired photo or video outcomes.

Real-Time Preview and Adjustments:

The large screen lets users preview images or videos being captured instantly and read their settings and parameters in use. This allows immediate adjustments to exposure, focus, white balance, and more to ensure optimal shooting effects. The real-time preview and adjustment functions allow users to control the device more easily and conveniently.

Detail and Quality Insight:

With its high resolution, the large screen shows intricate details and vibrant colours, enabling users to evaluate photo or video quality accurately. Subtle details, gradual colour transitions, and sharpness come to the fore, guiding users in assessing shot quality and potential refinements.

Sharing and Showcasing:

The large screen allows users to share and showcase their photos and videos effortlessly. Users can instantly review and share their capture.

3-Axis Gimbal Mechanical Stabilization

Gimbal Modes: Follow | Tilt Locked | FPV

The three-axis mechanical gimbal ensures stable footage during dynamic camera movements. Different gimbal settings offer multiple stabilisation options, ensuring smooth video capture across various scenarios. Customizable Stabilisation Level: Users can select stabilisation levels based on their needs to achieve optimal stabilisation effects.

Unlike EIS, which achieves stabilisation through image cropping and can compromise image quality, the three-axis gimbal offers mechanical stabilisation. This ensures that the footage remains steady even during shaky camera movement and provides the groundwork for features like Panorama and ActiveTrack.

SpinShot:

Osmo Pocket 3 allows you to get a smooth 180° roll with a single hand. This three-axis gimbal doesn't just stabilise; it opens up more possibilities for camera movements, such as the rotating shots seen in movies like "Inception".

ActiveTrack 6.0

Face Auto-Detect | Dynamic Framing

In video mode, a simple double-tap on the subject ensures they're tracked and locked to the centre frame.

This feature is a masterful blend of mechanical gimbal stabilisation and intelligent tracking algorithms. No matter how users hold or move the camera, the tracked subject stays centred and in focus while the camera view moves stably and smoothly.

With Face Auto-Detect, the system automatically tracks the first face that appears in the centre when recording.

Imagine a solo vlogger's entry shot: As the vlogger steps into the frame, saying their intro, the camera recognizes and auto-tracks them. Lover's perspective: Once activated, the camera naturally follows the subject, capturing every moment as if seen through their lover's eyes. With Dynamic Framing, users can select a composition based on the golden spiral or rule of thirds using the joystick. Once a subject moves into this pre-selected area, a simple press of the joystick activates tracking to lock the subject to the selected composition.

Scenarios: There's no need to continually adjust the camera to keep your subject focused or framed right. Just use Dynamic Framing mode to lock the subject into position. This will greatly simplify the filming process and increase the quality of every scene.

Fast Focusing: Close-Up Product Showcase

The full-pixel PDAF feature enables stable, fast focusing.

The new Product Showcase mode prioritises the foreground. In this mode, the lens can quickly and smoothly focus on objects close to the lens.

Thanks to the advanced auto-focus technology, the focus remains steadfastly on it even when the object is moving fast.

To ensure instant focus on the items presented in live-streaming scenarios, users must turn on the Product Showcase mode.

10-Bit & D-Log M

In log footage mode, videos benefit from a broad dynamic range, capturing finer details and offering more creative space for future colour grading.

The 10-bit colour depth smoothens colour transitions and avoids banding.

The D-Log M colour mode is designed for professional photography. In high-contrast or colourful settings like gardens or fields, it can capture a wide dynamic range and offers more creative space for future colour grading, reproducing the scene as authentically as possible.

Stereo Recording

1. Osmo Pocket 3 features a built-in three-mic array, enabling omnidirectional stereo recording.

2. Osmo Pocket 3 has a built-in Wi-Fi & Bluetooth module and can directly connect to DJI Mic 2 Transmitters.

3. Osmo Pocket 3 supports the USB Audio protocol and can connect to external microphones and monitoring headphones.

The device allows users to switch between sound recording directions (either omnidirectional or front-back) for stereo recording. With the built-in Wi-Fi & Bluetooth module, the device can seamlessly connect to an external microphone, ensuring superior audio quality. You can also attach a windscreen to diminish wind interference, guaranteeing satisfactory audio quality even in windy environments.

Realistic Audio Playback: Stereo microphones capture ambient sounds and play them back in rich stereo. This allows viewers to dive into the ambience of the video, offering a more immersive viewing experience. Whether it is captured from nature scenes, daily moments, or social events, stereo sound delivers a richer and more authentic audio experience.

Spatial Awareness: The stereo microphone captures sounds from different directions, offering the listeners a stronger sense of direction and distance during playback. Viewers can pinpoint the origin and proximity of sounds within the scene, feeling like they're right in the scene.

Added Artistic Values: Stereo recording elevates the quality and depth of videos. It helps creators vividly depict the ambience, sound effects, and genuine musical moments. For those who value audio excellence and creative expression, stereo recording takes both their craftsmanship and audiovisual productions to the next level.

Wireless Microphone DJI Mic 2

Osmo Pocket 3 can directly connect to two DJI Mic 2 Transmitters without the receiver. With DJI Mic 2, users can easily start and stop video recording, monitor audio through headphones, and check the volume bar. When it's not paired, DJI Mic 2 can act as a standalone audio recorder.

Pocket-Sized

139.7 x 42.2 x 33.5 mm (LxWxH)

It's about the same length as an iPhone but only half its width, making it easy to slip into a carry-on bag.

Natural Skin Tones + Glamour Effects

Natural Skin Tones: Glowing & Radiant

As soon as a face appears in the frame, the camera detects and recognizes it. It then adjusts the exposure based on the facial features, calibrating skin tones for various ethnicities to ensure a naturally glowing and detailed complexion right from the get-go.

Glamour Effects 2.0: Upgraded Algorithm

It builds upon the original 1.0 version, optimising glamour effects for facial features.

This function offers a range of enhancements: skin smoothing, texture adjustments, face slimming, dark circle reduction, nose reshaping, mouth modifications, teeth whitening, lipstick application, blush addition, eyebrow shaping, leg lengthening, head resizing, and nasolabial fold removal. Users can tailor these glamour effects to suit their own preferences.

Fast Charging and Long Lasting:

In the time it takes to enjoy a cup of coffee, you can charge the battery to 80%, allowing for 2 hours of continuous filming.

Osmo Pocket 3 comes with a built-in 1300mAh battery, which supports fast charging: 80% in 16 minutes and 100% in 32 minutes under laboratory conditions using the DJI 65W PD charger. Note that the provided Osmo Pocket 3 power adapter has a lower wattage, maxing out at 30 W.

Battery life: Under laboratory conditions, at 25°C (77°F) with Wi-Fi off and screen off, battery life has reached 116 minutes for 4K/60fps recording and 166 minutes for 1080p/24fps recording.

Flashlight Mode

Point the lens forward and hold the handle horizontally, and the gimbal will automatically enter the flashlight mode. When shooting from a low angle or position, this mode ensures a more stable grip and allows for easier handling of extensive movements.

Automatic Axis Locks

During camera power-off, the motor automatically moves the gimbal to its default position for locking. Once it's powered off, users can manually unlock or lock the gimbal.

Motion Lapse

Up to four waypoints can be set up for Motion Lapse shooting.

Motion lapse shooting, which once required operating a specialised gimbal device in tandem with a camera, can now be achieved with a single touch on Osmo Pocket 3.

Panorama

Automatic gimbal movement allows for 180°or 3x3 shooting.

Vertical Shooting

Users can choose from three modes: Landscape, Portrait, and Auto-Rotation.

In Auto-Rotation mode, the camera intelligently adjusts the screen orientation based on its current direction. This facilitates the creation of both short and long video content.

With the integrated physical gimbal, stable 4K vertical footage is possible even when holding the device horizontally.

Live Streaming Through Wi-Fi

1. Osmo Pocket 3 supports live streaming at 1080p@25/30fps.

2. Osmo Pocket 3 includes a recording start/stop function for live streaming.

HLG HDR

Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) is an HDR standard co-developed by BBC and NHK. Among HDR formats, which also include HDR10 and Dolby Vision, HLG is the most widely used. HLG is adaptable to various display devices. While it is designed to showcase HDR quality on compatible devices, it can also seamlessly downgrade to Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) on other displays. With HLG activated, Osmo Pocket 3 can directly produce videos in this format, enabling real-time HDR viewing on devices such as iPhones.

Webcam

1. The webcam supports using gimbal tracking to ensure that the subject remains centred in the frame by moving the three-axis physical gimbal.

2. Audio can be provided through the three-mic array, enhancing the audio quality.

3. The default recording resolution is set at 1080p.

Timecode

Osmo Pocket 3 comes with an integrated Timecode feature, allowing for quick alignment of footage in post-production, especially when handling multi-angle setups.

Two synchronisation methods are available:

1. Synchronise using an external timecode generator (Tentacle Sync).

2. Manually reset the timecode.

Wired Data Transmission

Osmo Pocket 3 supports fast data transfer with mobile devices like smartphones/iPads using the Type-C to Type-C PD cable. Data can be transferred without any specific app.
