48-Hour Operating Time & Power Efficiency

The standard Obsidian Black and Glaze White magnetic front covers feature a refined design that combines aesthetics with practicality, making them suitable for a variety of scenarios.

Vibrant Colours for Creative Expression

Whether capturing city adventures or outdoor sports, eight multi-colour magnetic front covers enhance your experience, turning everyday moments into creative opportunities.

Compact, Lightweight & Versatile Design

Weighing approximately 11 g, the DJI Mic Mini 2 Transmitter is designed for comfortable wear. The detachable, rotatable magnetic clip allows flexible positioning, whether clipped sideways or inverted, ensuring optimal audio capture in different situations.

All-in-One Storage Solution

The upgraded charging case and new mobile charging case can neatly store the transmitter, receiver, and accessories, keeping everything organised and ready for use. The mobile version is designed to support diverse mobile recording needs.

Designed with Artistic Inspiration

DJI has collabourated with internationally renowned illustrator Victo Ngai to create the DJI Mic Mini 2 Time Series Magnetic Front Cover. The four illustrations capture different stages of life, inspiring creativity throughout your audio journey.

Creative Themes & Artistic Expression

The design journey unfolds through four distinct themes. Dawn reflects inspiration arriving like the soft pink and purple hues of morning light, sparking curiosity and motivation. Surge represents youthful energy, where creativity grows with the vibrant tones of blue and green, encouraging exploration and forward movement. Blaze captures the prime of life, where creativity ignites like fiery orange-red flames, merging passion and inspiration into limitless possibilities. Glimmer symbolises the refined essence of creativity after time, where intense contrasts shape the profound character of black gold.

Versatile Recording for Every Scenario

Designed for creative recording with infinite possibilities, the system adapts to various environments. Capture clear and natural audio during family moments without complex setup, preserving authentic sounds of growing up. In live events, it reproduces delicate vibrations and rich instrument tones for an immersive listening experience. During city walks, it records everything from urban sounds to natural ambience with high-fidelity clarity. For outdoor cycling, it maintains clear conversations even against wind noise, capturing every moment of speed and passion.

Audio Performance & Intelligent Features

Despite its compact size, it delivers powerful performance with three voice tone presets to match your style. Regular mode provides clean and balanced sound, Rich mode enhances low frequencies for a fuller output, and Bright mode highlights high frequencies for added clarity. The Basic level is suited for quiet indoor environments, reducing background noise while maintaining vocal clarity, while the Strong level effectively minimises ambient noise in louder settings. It supports omnidirectional wireless recording with a rotatable clip for precise positioning, delivering high-fidelity 48kHz 24-bit audio. Automatic limiting prevents clipping by adjusting high input levels, and the safety track feature records dual tracks, with the second at 6 dB lower for added reliability. A five-level gain adjustment allows quick and precise control to enhance audio clarity.

Enhanced Usability & Broad Compatibility

Multi-colour windscreens reduce wind and unwanted noise, ensuring clear audio even in challenging environments, making it suitable for live streaming and vlogging. The system is compatible with cameras, smartphones, computers, and tablets using the DJI Mic Mini Receiver. It supports seamless mixing with up to two transmitters and one receiver for flexible recording. Mixed device transmission allows pairing between DJI Mic Mini and Mic Mini 2 transmitters, while multi-generation compatibility enables pairing with Mic Mini, Mic Mini 2, Mic 2, or Mic 3 transmitters depending on the selected mode, ensuring greater versatility and intuitive control.

Two-Level Noise Cancellation & Easy Control

The mobile receiver features a Noise Cancellation Mode Switch, allowing quick selection between Strong and Basic noise-cancelling modes. When connected to your phone, both the receiver and transmitter can be managed through the DJI Mimo app, enabling settings adjustments and firmware upgrades.

Seamless Device Connectivity & Long-Range Transmission

Compatible devices such as Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, and Osmo Action 6 can connect directly with up to two DJI Mic Mini 2 Transmitters via DJI OsmoAudio, eliminating the need for an additional receiver while delivering 48kHz 24-bit studio-quality audio. When used with the DJI Mic Mini Receiver (2 TX + 1 RX), the system supports transmission distances of up to 400 metres, while pairing with the mobile receiver provides stable transmission up to 300 metres.

Efficient Power Management & Fast Charging

The Mic Mini Receiver and Mic Mini 2 Transmitter support fast charging, providing up to 1 hour of use with just 5 minutes of charging, ensuring minimal downtime during use.

Smart Power-Saving Features

The transmitter automatically enters sleep mode when no signal is detected from the receiver and quickly reconnects once the signal returns. Additionally, both the transmitter and receiver can be set via the DJI Mimo app to automatically power off after a period of inactivity, shutting down if disconnected for over 15 minutes.

Seamless Operation with Devices

With the auto on/off feature enabled in the DJI Mimo app, the receiver syncs with your camera's power, turning on and off automatically when connected, allowing for a more streamlined workflow.

Flexible Charging While in Use

When connected to your phone, the receiver draws power directly from it. If connected to an external power source, both the receiver and the connected device can charge simultaneously, ensuring uninterrupted operation.

Charging Case Storage & Handling

The charging case is designed to store transmitters with the windscreen and magnetic front cover installed, as well as with the magnet or magnetic clip attached. Inside the lid, the magnet, magnetic clip, or audio adapter cable can be stored. When storing the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver, the left side of the lid accommodates the magnet or magnetic clip, while the right side supports only the magnet. To prevent product damage, avoid stacking items inside the charging case.

Connectivity & Cross-Model Compatibility

The DJI Mic Mini Receiver supports mixed connections with DJI Mic Mini and DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitters, allowing up to two transmitters to be connected simultaneously. The DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver extends compatibility further, supporting connections with DJI Mic 2, Mic 3, Mic Mini, and Mic Mini 2 transmitters, also with up to two transmitters at once.

App Controls & Feature Limitations

Voice Tone Preset modes can be selected through the DJI Mimo app, with Regular set as the default. This function is not available when the transmitter is directly connected to a phone via Bluetooth. Noise cancellation levels (Strong and Basic) can be adjusted via the DJI Mimo app or directly on supported devices such as Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, and Osmo Action 6 when connected through DJI OsmoAudio Direct Connection. When connected directly to a phone, the noise cancellation defaults to Strong and cannot be adjusted. The DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver also includes a physical switch for quick adjustment (Off = O, Low = L, High = H).

Direct Connection, Performance & Measurement Conditions

When connected to the DJI Mic Mini Receiver or DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver, certain features are enabled by default and can be managed through the DJI Mimo app. When connected directly to a phone via Bluetooth, these remain enabled and cannot be turned off. When paired directly with compatible devices via OsmoAudio, settings can be adjusted through the device interface. The DJI Mic Mini 2 Transmitters can connect directly to select DJI devices, supporting up to two transmitters, with an operating time of approximately 7 to 8 hours during direct connection. Performance measurements are based on DJI Mic Mini 2 (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) under controlled conditions, including fully charged components, noise cancellation turned off, close-range recording, and an interference-free, unobstructed environment with connection via a 3.5mm TRS camera audio cable.
