Although described as an ink cartridge, this ink supply it is is actually a bottle of FINE pigment ink. It has been neatly designed so you simply refill the giant integrated cartridge tank that housed permanently inside the printer when it runs out of ink. This design by Canon was motivated by feedback from consumers who were finding conventional sized ink cartridges expiring too early, causing frustration and extreme losses in productivity in the process. This ink bottle to integrated cartridge tank provides a brilliant low cost, high print volume solution for users where print demands are high.

The extra-large capacity of this ink bottle means you'll be able to keep your printing jobs flowing without interruption while at the same time enjoy the most optimum quality text and image results. Perfect for pumping out office documents, reports, presentations and other projects that require a lot of text or black coverage.

Designed for high volume G-Series printers, you'll get up to 6,000 black and white pages printed on A4. This high amount of ink in each bottle means fewer delays, interruptions, less downtime and vastly improved productivity.

The print quality from the special black pigment ink in this ink cartridge bottle is superb, producing crisp sharp text and vivid solid blacks for both text documents and imaging.

The pigment based ink penetrates the fibres of the paper media so it highly resists smudging and fading which makes the finished print last longer and is more robust for handling and processing.

Combined with the premium quality dye ink from other ink cartridge bottles in this family to suit the Canon Pixma G2600 and G3600 inkjet printers, and you'll enjoy stunning vibrant photos and super sharp document text.

The extra high yield amount from this ink bottle supply arrangement offers significant cost savings, not to mention the convenience of not having to continually change out cartridges.

Each bottle is spill-resistant and designed as a one-step quick process to refill the integrated printer cartridge without making a mess or enduring any inconvenience or hassles.

The actual print mechanisms that are utilised to create the text and imaging is known as a technology called thermal inkjet. The Ink from the bottle is received by the tank and then gets applied to the page via nozzles in the integrated printhead. To force the ink out of the nozzles and onto the page, a heated element is used to expand the ink into a droplet squirt onto the page.

The print quality result of this thermal inkjet technology because it is a direct droplet type application, is often superior compared to other engine types of print technologies like laser and dot matrix.

Ideal for the busy home, office, or school where low cost per print and high continuous print volume is demanded.
