Bright Tangerine Sony FX6 Expert Kit

Add accessories and support your Sony FX6 cinema camera on a variety of camera mounting systems with this Expert Kit from Bright Tangerine. The expert kit is made up of the LeftField baseplate core, a quick-release plate, a standard riser plate, a filler plate, a top handle brace, the Mini Axl bracket, a top plate filler piece, and two 12" long 15mm Drumstix rods. All the components are made from durable aluminium.

The LeftField baseplate features the Bright Tangerine Open-UP quick release system and 15mm LWS rod ports for the included pair of 12" long 15mm rods. The lower dovetail plate features a standard ARRI-style dovetail form and allows you to mount onto various rigs and systems. The included Standard riser allows you to mount the camera onto a variety of camera mounting systems and ensures your camera is at the proper 15mm LWS height.

The Mini Axl mounts onto the original FX6 top handle, replacing the original FX6 monitor bracket, and it provides 360° articulation, a 15mm rod mount, a 3/8"-16 thread, and a folding NATO rail. The top handle brace allows you to stabilize the top handle when utilizing multiple accessories. The top plate features NATO rails and 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, Sony 8T, and quick detach (QD) threads to add optional side handles, top handles, monitor mounts, or extension arms. The filler piece can be installed with the top plate in place of the top handle to add even more mounting options.

Add accessories to the top of your Sony FX6 camera using this Top Plate from Bright Tangerine. The U-shaped top plate installs on top of the FX6 using captive screws, and it surrounds the camera's original top handle, so you don't have to remove it for installation.

The cheese-style plate features two 1/4"-20 threads, six 3/8"-16 threads, two Sony 8T threads, and two quick-detach (QD) points. All the threads feature ARRI-style anti-twist divots to add a variety of accessories such as extension arms, a monitor mount, an EVF mount, 15mm rod clamps, or other gear. Each side of the plate features an integrated NATO rail that has safety releases on the ends. There are also locations to mount optional cable clips to keep your rig clean and organized.

Bright Tangerine Drumstix 15mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods (12", Pair)

This pair of Bright Tangerine Drumstix 15mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods follows the Bright Tangerine tradition of relentlessly striving for less weight without sacrificing strength and usefulness. Each 12"-long support rod is extremely lightweight yet exhibits less flex than carbon fibre rods of the same length, and it is lighter than either steel or aluminium rods while being at least as stiff and strong. Made from titanium the rods are corrosion resistant, and each is machined and ground flat to prevent binding as you mount accessories.

Each titanium rod is machined and ground flat to within a tolerance of 2 microns, which prevents accessories from binding when sliding on the rod. The strength, hardness, and machining tolerances of the rod eliminate the need for the time-honoured tradition of spinning the support rod in the rod clamp when trying to build the camera package.

Each rod is extremely lightweight, making it well suited for use with drones or in handheld configurations.

The stiffness of each rod means you can confidently use it to support heavy lenses and matte boxes loaded with filters without worrying about the rod flexing.
